The amount of data extracted for a compatible e-bike is perhaps not big but it forms whatever you might need on an e-bike display:
Yes, you may have all these data on a proper display. Some e-bikes like Specialized SL gen 1 or Giant Ride Control had no display at all.
- Rear wheel rotational speed, which translates to:
- Actual speed
- Distance ridden
- LEV Travel Mode ID and Name: Only Wahoo can extract the actual assistance mode names from compatible e-bikes. Garmin extracts a meaningless number, which might mean anything.
- LEV Battery %. Only Wahoo can extract battery level for Battery 1 and 2
- LEV Range (only compatible e-bikes)
- Rider's Cadence (otherwise you need a cadence sensor)
- Rider's Power (otherwise you need an extremely expensive Power Meter).
