Turbo Vado SL4 & SQlab inner barends and grips

The amount of data extracted for a compatible e-bike is perhaps not big but it forms whatever you might need on an e-bike display:
  • Rear wheel rotational speed, which translates to:
    • Actual speed
    • Distance ridden
  • LEV Travel Mode ID and Name: Only Wahoo can extract the actual assistance mode names from compatible e-bikes. Garmin extracts a meaningless number, which might mean anything.
  • LEV Battery %. Only Wahoo can extract battery level for Battery 1 and 2
  • LEV Range (only compatible e-bikes)
  • Rider's Cadence (otherwise you need a cadence sensor)
  • Rider's Power (otherwise you need an extremely expensive Power Meter).
Garmin EDGE really shines when it comes to the integration with the Shimano STEPS system as both companies had cooperated on that (OEM solutions).

Yes, you may have all these data on a proper display. Some e-bikes like Specialized SL gen 1 or Giant Ride Control had no display at all.
