Found an incredible sale price for a range extender battery - $99
Then noticed 2022 Vado 4.0 SL Step "Trough" for $92.88. A much better deal.

The web site looks legit - even https site with specialized logo. And just a few spelling errors.

They don't list a phone, but do list a street address. Google search shows it is a Goodwill store in Washington.

I called Specialized and they assured me they weren't selling the range extender for $99 and the site is fraudulent. But as it looks real, I wanted to get the word out.
So beware - some of their postings list good but not absured prices, so someone could get sucked it. specializedsale(dot)com

Saw a better deal, $66 at "costcostore". It popped up on a page of other batteries I was looking at. They must be selling a lot of bikes if these scams are everywhere.

Also always worth looking up the domain.

Via whois.name.com you can see the domain name was registered two and a half months ago and only for one year.

But fundamentally when you see a price that seems to good to be true it usually is. Scammers hope people's innate greed will overpower their common sense.
