throttle sensing conversions

Would like to find conversion kits available with torque sensing bottom brackets which do not involve an LCD display.

The goal of the build is to always stay at a predefined assist level, have all the componentry housed in one place.

Controllers that natively understand/incorporate a throttle signal from a torque sensor are all proprietary?

I recommend talking to Grin Tech in Vancouver, from what I gather from reading their website the Grinfineon and Phaserunner controllers require you plug in a V3 Cycle Analyst display to operate torque sensing PAS and a throttle. Grinfineon and Baserunner controllers can operate without the CA display, Baserunner may require you to wire in an on/off switch, but in this setup they support throttle input only not PAS.

The German Pendix mid-drive kit uses a bottom bracket torque sensor and no display but does not have a throttle, has a wider Q factor pushing the left crank out which might feel odd pedalling, plus I gather it is not distributed in the US

According to this 4 year old webpage it may be possible to use Bafang BBS cadence sensor motors without the display by plugging in the programming cable, but I do not know then how you power the controller unless the battery on/off switch sends power to the controller, or if this trick works with TSDZ2 motors that do use a torque sensor plus throttle.
