Throttle Attachment - what bikes fit?

Hey everyone..usually I lurk over on the Rad power bikes side but I wanted to reach out and get more information as to what other bikes on the market use a similar twist throttle.

We recently released our JA Throttle Attachment and it's been a success. Everyone that has tried/bought one has loved it. Even our early prototype models we handed out to a few folk for testing. Problem is I'm not sure what other bikes on the market also use a similar twist throttle. The outer diameter of the twist throttle that works is around 37mm.

If you're interested in snagging one they can be found at www.1859NW.com but I'm more so looking for information so if you could please post up makes/models that'd be a huge help!

Thanks,
Adamm Jarvis

That is a timely question.

I ride a Téo Fat Bike, with what looks to be the same throttle and grip.

The difference though is with the shifter. The Téo has a 9 speed Shimano Alivio, which uses thumb and index. I tried other throttle attachments and that all interfere with either the front shifter or the back one...

I definitely would love to see if your JA model works well... I was tempted to order one on a gut feeling it would work...

Thank you!!!

And regarding yours - Yes ours will fit for sure. Cause if you ain't throttling you're shifting! I don't see any conflicts between the shifter an our JA TA. The thickness of our unit is thin and low. Watch the video to see it. I also have this video I did using it in action while we were in the middle of developing it..

Also if you're in the Sacramento, CA area or Portland, OR area you can check it out in person as well to try it out.

I appreciate your excitement.

To shift from 9 to 1, using your thumb on the shifter in front will work for sure.

To shift from 1 to 9, using your index, you need to pull the shifter lever. If you look at my photo, it protrudes to the right, over the throttle, even something very thin prevents the shifters from changing gear, as it moves very little. That is the question.

I'll try and take a better pic. More to follow.

I'm not exactly close to any of those two locations. I'm in the Toronto Ontario area :(

Hmmm it looks like it'd fit.. Hard to tell from the photos. I'd have to see the unit in person to know for sure.
