It's really easy to strip a thread with cheater bar.
Yeah, that's why I like short handles, and I suck at guesstimating torque, so I need to practice using my torque wrench.

I will tell you it isn't super lite because of the tool quality but, that is only a factor if you're really trying to save weight.
I have full suspension Emtb
I just need to do owner perform tourqe check.
That's true. The Crank Brothers tool is probably made in China. It's probably more to do with our throw away society of today.Little secret every country makes both junk and good stuff. we joke about things coming from certain countries but it's true.
They say it's made in Colorado USAThat's true. The Crank Brothers tool is probably made in China. It's probably more to do with our throw away society of today.
They just don't seem to make things the way they used to.

Nothing wrong with Chinese made tools.

You can get 8" Klein diagonal cutters made in Mansfield TX in the electrical aisle of Home Depot. Not cheap. Chanl-lock diagonal cutters in the tool section are US made, but they downsized the 8" cutter to 7" to cut costs and those don't cut as well as the 8" for me. You can get 4" klein cutters from mcmaster.com, that cost more than the 8" from HD.I thought that I bought a quality tool with my Irwin tin snips but it's useless. It can barely cut a tin can. My $4 pruner from the dollar store works better. Everything is made in China now.
I wanted a new Diagonal cutters, and the only one I could find that wasn't made in China was this Knipex cutter.
,.. the dewalt drills from H.D. I buy mcmaster jobber twist drills.
I quit buying Craftsman tools when Sears decided ****ese tools were good enough. Sears is closed now.
The name in aviation (sheet metal) snips is Weiss, but haven't bought any recently enough to know if they are still capable. If I buy more snips they will be from mcmaster.
If you need some serious tool not specifically bicycle, catch the Snap-on truck at the mechanic's shop. Hideously expensive. Mac trucks at the mechanic shop are cheaper, but not everything is US or even taiwan made. Park bicycle tools so far have been US made.
Fooferdoggie is in a league of his ownTranslate for me please.
