got the Wera socket set for Christmas. not too much for bikes, more for the house. But it's a great setup. The socket head swivels and locks works as a screwdriver too. The case is great the sockets twist out so they are easy to remove, and there is Velcro on the back so you can stick it somewhere.

Over the last few years, I have changed all my tools to Wera, where I can as they are excellent quality.

For pliers and suchlike, I’ve charged over to Knippex.

No old tools were harmed in this exercise and were donated to the local “Men in Sheds”.

I haven't yet needed this spreader for brake pads, but it was just the tool to pop the cover off my Radmission motor to dispel my misconception that it was direct drive.

I haven't had that problem, but the chain on my Radmission kept smudging my right pants cuff. I used a heat gun to bend a piece of polyethylene garden edging into a guard to cover 11cm of chain.

I installed a faucet with a pull-down sprayer on the bathroom sink so I could rinse soap off my face without getting my clothes wet. In the confined space below the sink, the retractor weight kept hanging up, leaving the nozzle dangling. A chute fixed that. I made it by sawing a section of 3" poly pipe lengthwise.

I made a pot seed picker-upper tool.

I bought a "Bead Tweezers" for jewelry, but it was way too big for a pot seed,..

So I custom built my own bean Tweezers.
I had to use all the dentistry skills that I could muster up. 😁

The seeds are $10 each, and it sucked to have them fling off into the abyss when they'd slip outta the regular Tweezers.

I found out that a regular 18650 lithium cell fits inside my LED flashlight,..

The springs are long enough to accommodate both a Lithium Cell or the shorter, fatter AAA battery adapter.

I don't ride anywhere without this tool. This morning I stopped to use it only 300 yards from my driveway. As usual, there was no emergency. I did it to flirt. A beautiful automobilist did likewise.

To paraphrase a line about Robert Mitchum in "Thunder Road" .... "Nobody can compete with him. He's got the loudest horns in the valley."

This bulb makes my clarinet horn as loud as my saxophone horn, though neither can match my boat horn.
