Relocate LCD position

Just curious if I’m on the only one...

I’m looking at different ways to move the LCD from the factory location to where it will sit approx 3-4” in front of the headset so it’s not in the way of a headtube cellphone mount. Anyone else successfully figured out how to do this, and if so, what parts did you use / fabricate to relocate it?

For what it’s worth, I have a RadCity model, but it looks like it’d be the same process on any of Rad Power’s bikes.

I have a 2016 Radrover, and the LCD is mounted with 2 hex screws. I don't know if they have made any changes to the mount in the newer Rad bikes.

I did something like that. What I did was took off the LCD and rotated the brackets ~180 degrees. Then took a small acrylic sheet and drilled 4 holes: 2 holes to mount the sheet to the upside down brackets (+ 2 bolts & nuts). And 2 holes further forward to mount the LCD using the 2 original hex screws.

Have you checked out the thread about handlebar bar extender for 18 Rads: https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/rad-rover-handlebar-extender.25708/

You could either move the LCD screen or the phone mount to the extender. Most of the extenders are under $20 on Amazon, take about 5-10 minutes to install, and they look really nice.

Thanks - glad to see I'm not the only one.

Ok just read through that post and I think that's a perfect solution - thank you!!! I didn't realize they made those.
