Is there a Bash guard/motor guard for the Bafang MD 750 motor?

I have a minor scratch in the bottom of the case from/with a slight hit of a rock impact,
due to a stair step rocky road, I was testing the bike out on.

Being it's a Alum case, I need the protection around here etc.

I also was given new info for a bash guard for the Bafangs motor, see info here:

I have an email in to see if this will fit my MM G510.1000.C 12 motor, fingers crossed.

MD 750 is the bike model, not motor.
From the specs
Bafang G510 750W Ultra Mid Motor (which I believe is the M620 motor... 510 is the group set)

Thanks for the info, this info is on the bottom of the Bafang 750 motor housing,

CR R10M.1000.FC 1.0

MM G510.1000.C 12

I have been attempting to figure out what it means, so I can log it in the bikes log book.

By any chance can you advise me what all the above means?
I think the 750 is the motor size, and MD = mid drive?

Being new to Ebikes, I find the terminology quite confusing etc,
as everyone quotes BBSHD - BBSxx etc etc. .

Is there a post where I can lean this info?

Thanks,
Don

Sorry... I'm not that interested beyond model and year as that should be adequate to order parts.
Obviously those are production codes with that info and maybe a bit more... But I'd rather spend my time riding then sweating the details.
Maybe someone on with the same level of interest will reply.
Ride on. . .

Thank you for that info, Just what I was looking for.
I have saved that info.

On the motor bash guard, I don't know if that one will fit my motor,
as I don't have ANY OEM holes around the motor case etc.

And I am NOT going to drill any either....on my NEW bike...LOL

Don

G510 motor correct? Here's one but their pricey!

Thank you for the photo's,
I was Leary of using those holes, as they didn't look deep or strong enough,
is your plate is Alum or SS?
That gives me an Idea, for building one.
Thanks,
Don

Just made it out of some spare plate steel I had laying around. Cut to shape, bend to fit, drill 2 holes, file all edges, paint, and stencil logo in bottom ( optional ).
Yeah those 2 holes don't go it far but they go in far enough to securely support the skid plate. Has no effect on motor cooling at all. And it has come in handy more than a few times. Good luck.

Greeno are you selling those?

Are you threading the holes or putting a bolt with a nut on the inside

The holes are already threaded so just a bolt ( the correct length ). I have since countersunk the plate and used a flat allen head screw so it is flush. The other screw was fine I was just bored.
Not selling em but I made some up for my buddys I ride with that have the Ultra motors.

Speaking of Ultra skid plates I have a few extra if anybody wants one.

Also have (8) unused torque brackets that work with the BBSHD motors which I no longer use.

This is my old fattire hardtail bike which is long gone

I even have (3) skid plates for the same BBSHD motors to protect the wiring that comes out the bottom that I won't ever use. Just remove (2) existing motor casing bolts and bolt it on, saves on any heartache if you roll over any rocks or such or bottom out.

It's already drilled, I guess you could put "gorilla tape over the threaded #4 mm holes but....

Brilliant idea for the "Hail Bafang " members.
I would use double sided gorilla or 3m tape to make it stay in place. It looks like Greeno drilled his Bafang.
Pay no attention as this comment will self destruct in.. mP3z94.gif
