Help find me a specific e-bike for a lady

@Indira, and afterthought. If your Entour behaves perfectly and you feel adequate pedalling support in Auto mode, don't use the RideControl App. Now I can remember the software update made my Auto mode hopeless...

Don't have names for modes - just lights.... I do use different modes of support (1-5), but Auto seems safer when on busy road - I need all my concentration for the traffic.
Regarding your comment about update and AUTO mode - I remember that my dealer told me about a special combination of pressing buttons, to restore auto mode - also he told me to come to the store for an update, not to do it alone...

I can tell you that as nice and beautiful Giant e-bikes are, they still suffer on the software side. For your convenience, I'll list the support mode names of your Entour:
  1. Eco
  2. Eco+
  3. Normal
  4. Sport
  5. Power
And of course 0 = Off and you have the SmartAssist (Auto). I think you press Up and Down arrows together for a longer while to get into the Smart Assist.

As long as you are happy with your Entour performance, don't use the RideControl App. It might upset your SmartAssist in the way it will not work well!

(After I downgraded to the EVO display, my assist modes have different names and I have no Auto. After I did the software update with RideControl App on RideControl One, my Auto mode started giving me almost no support. Don't spoil your Entour! I'm happy with the EVO though as I like riding in Manual modes.)

Well, not sure if there is a protocol for that :) - for now I can only rely on RideControl ONE and its indicators. There are 5 lights indicating full batterie - yesterday I rode 51 km, with 250 m elevation gain, for 3h11min duration altogether. Most of the time I was in AUTO mode, just for some short periods in MAX support. After the ride there where 3 lights left. It took less than 2 hours to charge fully again.
How does that sound? Do you think I should empty the batterie more before charging?

I guess and hope when I install and run the app on my mobile and connect with RideControl, that I will be able to be more scientific about battery use:) (RTFM sais: Connected with the Giant E-bike app, the RideControl ONE features a variety of functions such as motor tuning, fitness data and navigation). :p

The charge indicator lights on the control pad pretty well represent 20% each of remaining charge. So 3 lights would indicate about 60% charge remaining.
Charge the bike when you're going to use it. Leave at about 60% or as close as convenient if you're going to store it for more than a few days. Not good to leave it completely discharged - at least charge it half way. And also not good to charge it fully and then park it for more than a day or so. At full charge, temperature fluctuations can cause an over-charge condition for some cells within the pack which can lead to degraded performance over the life of the pack. Cold temps will make it lethargic - bring the pack indoors if the bike is stored outdoors in winter. Heat is detrimental, so bring the pack in if it's going to be very warm where it's stored. Heat can kill off cells within the pack. Giant warrants the pack for some 500 to 800 charge cycles while still maintaining at least 80% capacity. You should get very good long term capacity and performance, for many years, with reasonable care.

Our 2019 models don't have the auto-mode, so we mostly use level 2 for general riding, higher levels when climbing or if we're tired. You have to remember to shift down to a lower gear when stopping so you're ready to start. Punching up to level 3 or 4 and a low gear will give you quick acceleration from a standstill, like for crossing a street or intersection, or starting on a hill. And yes, if you rest your foot on the up-pedal it will feel like it's trying to go - that's the torque sensor kicking in assist. This is more noticeable to some people than others, but a known characteristic of the model.

After a few trips you'll have a feel for what kind of range you can get. It's all variable based on speed, grades, total weight, and assist level.

Thanks @Browneye. Do you work for Giant? You seem to know a lot.
Today, I managed to almost empty the battery. I covered 85 km, with resonable amount of elevation, on one charge. It was only one light left and soon it became red, but still giving power. I think that is great!

After a year of deliberation, my friend Anita bought a brand new Como 5.0 (EU version) at Specialized Warsaw :) US$5050 discounted price after tax :)

The LBS is just 4 km from her home. The store has the most friendly personnel I have even met in Poland!

Wow! Pretty bike.
Many great miles and smiles to Anita.
Now of course she needs some great accessories. As any modern woman knows, it the accessories that complete the "outfit". :)🚴‍♀️

dang that front fender really looks like it would keep the tire from spitting water at the motor. Not good for a off road ride but looks like it might work well for some pavement rides. Looks like a very nice ride for it intended use.
