Anyone with a 2020 Revolt E Pro?

Mine is in the shop after 1300 miles. Was not experiencing cut off however was getting the service indicator and battery showing only 95% health. Bike at the shop for 12 days still waiting for Giant to respond to the warranty claim. this sucks as I ride this bike 20 miles a day every day.
 
Picked up from the shop...they said firmware changes needed to be made. When I start the bike it comes up in auto mode? Not sure what that is about..anyway first test ride coming up.
 
I'm 51 years old and today I rode my daily 17.5-mile loop over fairly hilly terrain with 1000 ft of elevation gain. which is a mix of good roads, bad roads, and a small amount of gravel trail. The bike after 1300 miles, is better than new. I had the dealer switch to a tubeless setup and rotate the tires. I normally ride this loop in BASIC today I tried the AUTO mode and it took me about 1 mile to get used to the subtle differences. In the end, I completed the ride about 1 minute faster than average at 20.7 mph, but burned about 100 more calories at a higher average heart rate and significantly more time at peak and cardio with very little time in fat burn. The battery consumption was nearly identical to riding this loop in the BASIC mode.

Just got my Revolt E+ Pro and I love it. After reading some feedback here I got mine. I'm 50 miles in and just very happy with it.

I actually traded in my Yamaha Cross Core on the Revolt E+ Pro and I love it. Not to say I didn't enjoy the Cross Core but I wanted the versatility of the Revolt E+ Pro and it has not disappointed. Much has been made about the 375Wh battery, but for me, I think it is fine and the fact it has range extender capabilities is perfect. I ride out from my house typically on a 10-25 mile ride over mixed and hilly terrain. The Yamaha had a 500Wh battery of course, but the motor was not nearly as powerful, so I got the feeling I needed more power from it on the hilly terrain here in North Carolina. It was good for about 35 miles in the mid-level support. I wanted to compare the Revolt E+ so I did a ride 20-mile ride this morning and put the bike in the "Active" mode which is sometimes called 'Normal" in any case it is the middle powder level. When I returned home I had 20% battery remaining. Of course, battery life is highly dependent on terrain and rider weight. So based on my weight 240lbs and the somewhat hilly roads here, I was able to do some extrapolation. I can expect to get about 63% of the predicted range for each on the control readout with the battery at 100% Obviously, these range predictions are for a 150lb rider on flat ground. While I am neither 150lbs or rinding on flat ground, I decided to make a chart for this versus the situation adding the range extender.

I would also add the Basic mode is plenty of assist for nearly any ride.

I simply can not agree with those who say the 375Wh battery is terrible or a reason not to buy this bike. I think it is fantastic and the ability to add range is awesome. This is a unique bike an incredibly versatile and really fun bike. Thanks for all those who have sing its praises, I hope this helps those who fear the battery life and write it off because of that.

Curious, what geometry Redshift stem did you get? I can’t find a size designation on the stock stem.

Giant doesn't seem to have the 2021 Revolt posted yet, but the Road-E has been up for a bit. AFAICT, the frame is the same, but they list it as having a 500whr battery. Checking their parts store, they do indeed list a 500whr battery thats compatible with the 2020 line:
(strangely no 2021 bikes are listed as compatible, which I assume is an oversight, or maybe just not listing them until the entire 2021 lineup has been posted).

Wondering if the size is exactly the same or if they bulged it out to the side to fit more cells. Only reason I'm not ordering one is my wife has basically taken over my Revolt and I'll probably pickup a 2021 early next year. :)
 
That’s great news. Would the green cover simply mount on the new 500wh battery? Or is it ordered as an assembly in the revolt color?

I did a little digging and found the specs of the 375 to be the exact same size-wise as the 500. It seems they crammed in 10 additional cells.

I have ordered the 500Wh battery for mine. After taking my battery out for the first time today it seems the cover can be swapped to the new battery via a few screws. My current battery is just enough for my current daily ride but I would also like to lengthen the ride some at times. The current battery has 1500 miles and 64 charging cycles and stands at 93% health. If anyone is interested in purchasing it message me as I won't likely use it.

The 500Wh battery was $50 off so $750 with free shipping.

I wonder what the difference in weight between the two is.
 
New 500wH battery received today!

It may be possible to swap the green cover to the 500 wh battery but it is not a simple task. After removing the screws on the ends and the tab it wouldn’t budge. Looks like a set of clips on the side that snap-in. The bike shop says it’s tricky but they can do it for me so I’ll go that route.

A full charge shows the following ranges

Auto 62 miles
Eco 86
Basic 65
Active 55
Sport 49
Power 37

The battery is the same size but heavier.

Any other E-Gravel Bikes that can provide this range with this amount of Yamaha Class-3 power?

Very nice range improvement! Curious that Giant would make the cover removal so difficult!
I think I am going to buy a 2nd one so I can swap batteries and still be covered. Until it arrives I definitely want to use the 500wH, tomorrow will be the first run.
 
Good idea on the second cover. Hopefully it is less $$ than the battery! LoL
Does Giant show them as being available?
Btw, I have the 275w Energypak plus and am happy the that set up.
 
I wasn't sure where to post this.. But I finally picked one up a few weeks ago. So far, I have mounted it with Hunt all season wheels with WTB Byway TCS 700c Gravel Tire 700 x 44mm. I also picked up the extension pack. I ride 90% on eco mode... On the tarmac, flats with battery off, I can avg 20 mph, with eco on I can easily ride at 25 mph and with eco plus I'm at 28 mph.

I just did a gravel ride yesterday where it was 40 miles and 3600 ft. of elevation with just the battery and got home with 46% battery left avg speed of 12.8 mph. Haven't had a chance to do a long ride with the extension battery pack yet. (It's been too wet lately).

I'm currently looking for full fenders. I really like the Portland Design Works Full metal fenders, but they don't make one large enough to cover 700c x 44mm tires. Does anyone have any experience with full metal fenders that will fit this bike?

Also excited to hear about the 500wh battery fitting into the frame!! Will definitely have to look into adding that.
