So PedalUma … any interesting places to park our 18ft T@B trailer in your area? Despise typical RV places, we have solar. And travel in this …
Interesting idea. What BMS are you using?Building a new 40AH heated pack in a Pelican case.
I haven’t opened the packs. I can’t answer.Interesting idea. What BMS are you using?
@Prairie Dog! Minus 53C in Lloydminster!!! Penguins in Antarctica probably can't survive that.Gawd I hate you
The first, KOA, is in Petaluma, so you can take the train and a ferry to San Francisco or Angle Island in the middle of the bay to bike.any interesting places to park
It was -52 WC this morning but the wind suddenly died and now it’s only -40C. Woohoo! Just came in from shoveling snow for an hour and I was totally warm clad in appropriate layers similar to what I wear on winter rides. Hands were toasty with Motion Heat liners underneath OR Goretex mitts. I have yet to find a balaclava that fits my head/face properly without it sagging or becoming frozen from my breath. Those pics of yours are certainly a pleasure to see since we are still a couple of months away from the Spring Equinox. If it’s any consolation, Dec was one of the warmest months on record. Hope to get out on the bike after the weekend.@Prairie Dog! Minus 53C in Lloydminster!!! Penguins in Antarctica probably can't survive that.
I am 1/3rd of the way into that book when I realized it is homo-erotic; What?, so the joke is on me.
Here is more of that fluffy white stuff. What is really weird is at the same time we have trees full of dead leaves with emerald green hills.
my OR is a tight but comfortable fit. How do they act when you walk into the bank with that balaclava?my OR is a tight but comfortable fit. I have this model, https://www.outdoorresearch.com/products/wb-fs-balaclava-usa-243554?variant=47059986710849
Funny you should mention that. 45North actually sells a Baklava Balaclava. I’m guessing that the open mouth design allows you to inhale the baklava while the long drape neck prevents any of those flaky morsels from falling inside your outer apparel keeping things neat and tidy.Do people from Balaclava eat baklava and wear balaclavas?
My merino balaclava has let me down simply because my head/face is likely smaller than most out there but then again, it’s a O/S fits all. I’ve tried others but either the nose/mouth port don’t line up right and ultimately result in fogging up my glasses. I really like OR products but unless I can test fit one, I might have to do with what I have for now which is adequate for winter riding. That being said, I just might bite the bullet and get one in a S/M size.my OR is a tight but comfortable fit. I have a greyhound who's also thinking that ... and it's only a balmy -5C here.... After that I think they are going to stay inside and hold it until March...
Roxie generally loves snow.Yeah, we were at -27C this morning as well (-16F in Freedom Units). Nearby they were reporting -33C on the valley floor.
I took the dogs for a ten minute walk this morning. After that I think they are going to stay inside and hold it until March...
