However in our experience, If you want to replace the cog, its very very hard to get a grip using a chain whip for anything under 16T for the chain cog.
Its not that 14T / 15T dont fit. The issue is that if we want to swap the cogs (after they are worn down), it is tough to remove the lock ring because the chain-whip interferes with the lock ring socket. With 16T there is just enough clearance for the system to work with minimal issues.
