It was such a beautiful day today and with light winds for a change it was perfect cycling weather, a little chilly at first but it warmed up nicely 71 glorious miles today which takes my 2019 total to 1431 miles! For many years I have gone clipless but I decided to turn the clock back to days gone by and try toe clips and straps again and apart from one moment when my foot came out on a rough patch of road I was happy with them, it was like wearing your favourite slippers at times It was good to get off the bike and have a walk also for a change
I take it you mean SPD's, I have tried them in the past and didn't get on with them... I don't fancy strapping a courier company to my feet I liked the comfort of the toe clips today so I will persevere!lovely pics. Yes cool to start off with, around lunchtime warmed up nicely here in East Yorkshire. Had a ride to the coast (Hornsea) Floral Hall Cafe for lunch. Basic, cheap (1950's) ish, and despite the thumb prints in the butter always a welcome stop, sitting outside under glass veranda with bracing views of the North Sea (forgot phone, so no pics) Rab, you could always look at DPD pedals and shoes. No "Duck Walk" then?
When was the fire?
Ok i am ready to roll south ...how does wednesday sound Richard? No I don,t have an Ebike specific rack yet. OK I just ordered this one...made in USA ! https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/C1KSbzNcJhS.mp4
