todays ride up the powerline trail and along the north shoulder of Burnaby Mtn heading west
DO those cast aluminum rims add much weight compared to spokes ?
Yeah I give this trail 5 stars for sureWith scenery like that, I'd do a lot more winter riding!
cool pic ... nice bike and tires too!Today at the summit of Mt Holyoke. They don't plow 3/4 of the road to the top, but temps in the mid/high 30s (F) made for super-tacky packed snow and ice, so I had excellent traction, even without my spiked tires on yet!

what river does it span?A couple of months ago I posted a photo of a bridge we rode over on a group 55k ride. That bridge has just now taken out the top award for pedestrian bridges, at the Institute of Structural Engineering Structural Awards in London

Those pics make me want to get a road bike too. it looks like fun and you can never have too many bikesI was hoping to get out early today to complete my 3000 target for the year but there was some ice around first thing so I decided to play it safe and wait until after 11am to set off, I managed 60 miles (1 mile for every year on planet earth) so I only have 21miles to go to reach my target If the weather plays ball I should complete it next weekend! It was only 36F today but it was still a very enjoyable trip, at one point the weather closed in and it looked like I was in for a soaking but I managed to avoid it for the most part and at least it didn't snow I forgot to take a close up of my flithy bike, sorry @Deeps next time

Good luck with your weather, time is against you though! Not looking good for me next weekend...So close! I'm hoping I could hit 4,000 total miles by 12/31, but I do fear the weather here will not cooperate.
Today was a stunner, and put me 30 miles closer, but that still leaves 530 miles to go.
Chris ...So close! I'm hoping I could hit 4,000 total miles... but still 530 miles to go.
