Can you elaborate please? What battery is the 18650's, voltage, Ah, and the 21700? And what is the difference in range between the two batteries? For example with my Reention Dorado ID MAX battery I can cover around 100km.

21700 are less $ than 18650 cells.

My 21700 pack from her is awesome. Better mileage than my 18650 batteries.

21700 cells have higher amp hours than 18650. 21700’s also discharge at a slower rate. Yes, you’ll get better range.

So 48V 14AH by Samsung 35E cells with 25A BMS is maximum upgrade capacity option.

Had a quick ride out today mostly steep hills, covered 21 miles and voltage went from 54v to 51.5 using power assist 2-5 (hills was steep) , battery still showing full, the power delivery is smooth with no battery sag at all , I was smiling away going up the hills using the right gears as appropriate and using good maintained speed up the steep hills I'll finish the battery tomorrow it will be mainly flat riding, I want to see if there's much battery sag near the end of battery and then give it a good charge , the battery is a little bit bulkier than original but not too much(see pic)
So far I'm happy with the performance but much more testing needed.
The battery fits well and plenty of clearance if any shengmilo mx03 owners wondered, any questions or requests welcome ,
One thing I noticed when riding up steep hills before I got this battery was it could do with a little bit more torque but with this battery there's no voltage drop/sag and handle them well obviously with a bit of effort that's how I like to use my gears, I'll keep this thread updated

If you in fact have the EEL pro version it's actually quite limiting.
52 18650 cells. Sadly Reention hasn't posted the drawings and details. Jenny is currently quite swamped. I don't expect batteries to be shipped till the end of the month. Based on the written specs, 48V 13s4p, 52V 14s3p.

I do get better performance. Enough that I'm needing to make some mid drive programming changes.
with a new 18650 pack 350W in 4th is about 13MPH. with the 21700 pack, 17.5MPH. I was very surprised. Range is also quite a bit better. I'll have a better number once I run the pack on a Grin CA3.1 and Grin controller

Just want to chime in and mention I updated my review of this 25ah battery from Jenny after 1 year of use over on this thread. I re-ran my capacity tests to see how much it degraded over a year (hint: it didn't) and was stunned it did so well to be honest. There's a 52v version on the way to me know and I am going to do a similar review of it.

Just received a new Dorado 25ah battery

It has been mentioned in a few threads here but Reention is producing a new case for their Dorado series of batteries that allow 21700 cells to be used instead of 18650. This increases the max capacity of that battery to 25ah using Samsung 50E cells (@48v). The battery is available in 36v, 48v...

Will absolutely get back and update when the EEL PRO is available for 21700 options someday, not now.

Today, we have all orders paid in lockdowns shipped away, and some of riders already got the battery and did some biking test. Thank you for all your updates and patience. No such animal as a 35Ah cell. 3500mah but new 21700 are around 5000Ah.
