Reention Dorado 48V 25Ah 29Ah&36V 30Ah (505L) Replacement Battery for eBikes Surface 604,NCM,Rize,Magnum,Aventon

Hi, there is no direct upgrade battery for RadMission as the case and its mount plate are Rad Power proprietary design. If you can replace the mount plate, the Reention Polly is suggested, and now the newly released Polly DP-2170-7 is available for max 48V 25Ah or 52V 25Ah by Samsung 50E 21700 cells.
Battery size 368x95x156mm

I really like mine!

Hi @Jenny Mao what battery do I need to the Aventon Level? Thank you!
Hi Mohammed, it is SYR intergrated battery, called SYR002 Mustang-A, 340L, the plasitc cover length is about 340mm.
48V 14Ah is already the max option.
A type means the case has the bottom charging port, and it is also available for charging via the frame charging port, connected via the middle two pins among 4pin discharging port. (Sounds a bit complicated, pls refer the pics below.)
There is also similar B type, which has a side charging port. (e.g. Haoqi ebike uses all B types.)

I have a 50E cell Poly 20Ah from Jenny. A very nice performing battery. I’m very happy. And everyone knows I’m a grumpy old man…

I actually live where it was filmed.

Hello Jenny. What does CAN battery mean? Will this battery work with Bafang UART motors or this battery will work only with Bafang CAN BUS motors?

Here is Reention Rhino IR-2170 battery with CAN protocol.

For anyone who doesn't know what CAN and UART mean (I didn't!), I used my friend Google to find the following:

IMHO, I don't think the battery cares what type of motor it is feeding the 52V to. It shoud work with either as long as the controller is rated for 52V.

However, I'll let Jenny respond.

No, just no. IF the canbus controller uses the protocol, AND has a third communication wire a two wire typical UART battery will NOT function. And likewise the Canbus battery with a com wire will likely have a BMS preventing proper function with the typical two wire power lead system.
GET THE BATTERY TYPE DESIGNED FOR YOUR SYSTEM.
Often batteries for Canbus and proprietary system will not function between brands, ie, Bosch, Yamaha, and their ilk.

Hello, I agree with @Fred and @tomjasz points, the 52V CAN battery shall power a non-smart (non UART,RA232/485, CAN) motor/controller system. But for the CAN motor/controller system, it must need a matched CAN battery, or some controller functions won't work.

May I know what is ebike model for this CAN battery? And do you open the male discharging connector to check how the 6pin soldered? The CAN port indeed needs 2wires and RS485 needs 3wires for connection.

The ebike is Dengfu e55 frame (designed to fit Reention Rhino IR-2170 battery case) paired with Bafang m620 52v motor. The motor can be UART protocol or CANBUS protocol so I need to figure out which motor version to pick for this battery. I do not have the battery on hands yet.

Thank you for the information.

Just read ZEN ebike owner explanation about difference between the UART and CANbus on this thread.
CANbus is more complicated than UART and which can fullfill more functions. The bluetooth function (app connection) is one of UART protocol.
But I am still not sure if the motor/controller in CANbus version needs to communicate with battery via CANbus protocol. I will collect more info and update here.

In the case of m620 motor+controllers, you'll surely want the UART version, if you are starting from scratch.

Note that any "house shaped" connectors rather than round ones, are typically seen alongside CANBus motor+controllers.

I understand you may have display & throttle already? If so, what model display?
