In a year or so, I racked up a few thousand points just by saying " Don't buy a bike you can't test ride, or at least return ".
Covid ended that, of course, but it made me curious.
If I hit the SAD or ANGRY emoticon in response to a post, does it reduce the posters score? Does LOVE or LOL increase it more than LIKE ?

One frown and one angry made no change to reaction score. I think we might be coated in emotional Teflon.
I bet they are all scored the same. Any reaction being a reaction. This tends to make posters a little more provocative and put some attitude or wit in their writing or do some background homework to increase its entertainment or educational value. Would you watch a play or movie that you were neutral about? Even horror has an entertainment appeal for audiences.

It depends on how the admins have set up the xenforo forum software. By default some reactions count as +1, others zero.

After further review, the reaction score seems to correspond to likes exclusively, but if you click on your profile image in the top right, you can then click on "reactions received" and you will see your total reactions under "all" which will include both positive and negative reactions, and is a higher total number than the reaction score.

Edit: laughing and love faces upped reaction score lol idk anymore 🤡

Going to reply to my own post. WOW. Can of worms...open. LOVES posted.

This is my breakdown: All (874)
Like
Like (795)
Love
Love (13)
Haha
Haha (37)
Wow
Wow (21)
Sad
Sad (5)
Angry
Angry (3)
The Angry and Sad ones were mostly reactions to developing news that a truck in AZ mowed down a bunch of charity riders. In my opinion the Haha have the best value weight because it takes some effort and understanding to get people to laugh. It is more fun. Oh little Timmy has fake vampire blood with his strider bike on the lawn.
No actual children got hurt, except the ones in the factory making his bike.
