I’m not sure how to describe this but here goes:
When coasting in any PAS level, mostly lower gears, I’m experiencing a delay from the time I apply pressure to the pedal until the bike responds to that pressure.
It makes a sound similar to a bike shoe cleat locking into the binding as I begin the stroke. It’s as if I’m chasing the cadence or something.
I’m not describing this very well but hoping someone can interpret my jibberish.
Seems most noticeable at lower speeds as well.
Is this a characteristic of a Direct Drive Hub? Annoying to say the least.
Newbie here-just trying to get it right
