Guys
I was told that I need to change the Speed Sensor (at the rear wheel ?),
I am converting to a "Uart" G510 motor, after several days of searching,
I can not find a Uart speed sensor or even a Canbus sensor.

Is there such an animal? and where may I find a Uart speed sensor?

All the other items for Uart I have found and they state "Uart protocol"
such as Motor, Display, Main wiring harness etc.
I have found several Bafang speed sensors, the whole complete item,
just "NO" info stating "Uart".

I have a download message from Johnny Qin, but I cannot figure how to open it?

Your thoughts and suggestions,
Don

Common sense would tell me a speed sensor is a speed sensor - kinda like a throttle. You have both motors now (?) why not look at the connectors. If they match, that would be all the proof I would need.

Thanks Al
(I was also thinking that, after spending Google time looking around).

I would have done that except,
I have buttoned up the Can motor, so I can get some more time on it,
in between all the foul weather we have been hit with,
still waiting for all the parts to get to do the conversion,
as I intend to split the case and re grease the new Uart motor,
and install lines for tail/head lights and the full length wide fenders etc.

Mean while,
I am making small adjustments to the seat angles/heights with this new tube,

I hope that this and adjustments will relieve some of my back pain.

Any suggestions on how to open a download from Bafang?
This download is from Johnny Qin from Bafang and is information for the speed sensor etc.
Tia,
Don

Attach his file to a post, not hard to do, then a lot of guys can mess with it to see if there's anything worthwhile in it.

You took all those pictures of your Canbus motor connectors. Did you miss the one for the speed sensor?
