I am pretty sure that they are talking about the tension on the spoke and not the torque on the nipple.
Information about the Velocity Dually:
Also, keep in mind all our rims are drilled for a 14g nipple. We tend to use Sapim E-Strong spokes with the reduction nipples. 12g at the elbow bend and 13g at the nipple end. The reduction nipples have a 13g thread but the OD is the same as a 12g nipple. Also, we recommend getting tension close to 120kgf.
That makes sense then. Thanks!I am pretty sure that they are talking about the tension on the spoke and not the torque on the nipple.
That was his reply after I told him I was going to hook the rim up to a Hentach motor with around 2000w. I would not take that as a specific suggestion but more as guideline.Do you know if that's for connecting the rim to a fat motor?
That's my whole issue with my wheel.

You'd have to check with them.Would he be able to sell you everything that you'd need to swap your rims, or just the rim.
$289 USD is $400 CAD plus premium spokes and nipples and whatever else, plus shipping, tax, duty, tarriffs.
I could be approaching $1000 CAD for a rim and spokes?
That is Velocity who I emailed about their rim with the questions. I purchased the rims through pro wheel builder. You'd have to check with them.
