This is how my vented G062.1000.DC motor internals looks after I cleaned most of the old SHC100 grease off. Approx 1 year and 3000w peak power usage. Everything looks good 🙂
Motor now cleaned, rewired higher awg+two sensor wires, regreased, rebuilt and temp sensor installed.
Big cassette hides that motor easily 🙂
Did first test ride after putting this beast back together. Relatively easy run with some short full throttle accelerations resulted in ~15 degree temp rise (vs ambient) in windings (only small test run).
I will next upgrade the controller to ~50-60A (60v still). It will be interesting to see how the temp log looks after I have the bluetooth system up and running😅

Controller current Max updated to 64A so peak Power 4000w 😁

One step closer to adapt yet bigger power to the beast.
Aiming 60v 60A.
Bluetooth motor winding temperature logging system comes in handy 👌😎

I Know this is off the topic but what cassette or freewheel did you use.

AliExpress is cheaper, as you know.
It might take a while to arrive, but savings is worth it (for me, anyways).
Yeah that was first example from ebay. Best option depends on shipping prices and discounts. I paid 32.59€ with shipping (eBay). Now seems to Be 32.14€. Ali was more expensive then and pretty much same price now (shipping 18.85€)

When you replaced your original G06 motor with the G062, was the replacement plug and plug and did you have to remove the whole thing (casing) and relace the new motor inside instead ?

New motor needs to be laced to the wheel. Motor connector is L10 so not compatible with stock controller (or 35A controller).

Actually, I didn't know that Grin sold hear dissipating oil.
I don't know if this one would be better than ATF.

Yeah. Statorade is excellent for gearless hubs. Geared hubs have outer shell that works as insulation. For that reason its not that good on this situation. I have still considered maybe trying for minor effect. I have some other idea as well. ATF between core and shell work but there are downsides that I like to avoid.
