does ACE now display the LEV Battery as an icon or a number?

It is now up to two numbers, each for either dual battery. It came with one of firmware updates (which you do from the device not from the App!)

How do you assess the screen readability in direct sunshine?

I had no chance to ride in the direct summer sunshine yet. I hope Auto MAX brightness might be adequate.

My Ace has not displayed the LEV Battery level, the data field is there, no data is displayed? Maybe you can assist me with this one?

1. What is your e-bike make and model?
2. Are you sure the e-bike is connected as a single sensor called E-BIKE? (It is done from the device, not the App!)
3. Did you perform the firmware update?

Same with a brand new ACE on my Vado SL 1 5.0 with Mastermind. Haven't gotten around to troubleshooting it. Everything else seems to be working.

It is all strange, guys. The primary reason for me to ever buy a Wahoo was to serve as a full fledged e-bike display for my Vado SL. The batteries' level was the main feature.

Update the firmware on the device (a short click on the ON button, first page, go down to Device Settings)...

Make sure the e-bike is connected... (second utility page)

LEV Travel Mode, LEV Battery, Cadence, 3s Power... LEV Range would work with Mastermind, too.

The firmware on my new ACE is up to date, and still a blank "- -" LEV field — even when it's actively recording (so clearly connected to the bike). Doesn't record battery level, either, but it successfully records everything else.
