If we want to get finicky about physical quantities and units that actually make a difference in an ebike context, we should require a proficiency test in telling the difference between mass (kg) and force (Newtons), between stored electrical energy (Watt-hours) and rate of energy transfer (Watts), and between electrical and mechanical wattage in electric motors. These are all very different physical quantities.
