My favorite was the little plastic screen in the bottom of a urinal, with advertising on it. Seems nobody thought of the symbolism of having their logo peed on.
Back in the 1980's, during the Iranian hostage crisis, a company (I forget the name) made a big profit by selling those urinal screens with a picture of the Ayatollah Khomeini.

My company used them for a while and I felt like I was supporting the hostages every time I used the john.

Found my favorite urinal screen of all time at a big amusement park. The dartboard-like target turned taking a leak into a game. Too bad there were no prizes.

Our workshop comfort rooms are not equipped with motion sensor automatic flush. There is a sign, tape to the wall in bold letters Flush when done with your business.
Not a lot of miles on my bike yet. 180 miles as of today i reset my trip meter
on new years day, just keeping busy with home maintenance.
Re- run pictures of watching the crew move equipment for our local bike path.

I've been riding around on a test ride after owner performed derailleur adjustment.
I thought I take a picture on one of my stop. These guys (birds) watch me while I made adjustments on the 3 derailleur tiny bolts.
5 mile mark and pedaled back to homebase.
Everything is lock and loaded good to go for my China Town ride tomorrow.

I couldn't help it but be overly cautious once I entered Chinatown. I have not done urban rides in months most my rides have been off roads and controlled bike paths under construction.
I had a couple near miss, cars turning left at an intersection cut me off. Our so called "Protected Bike Lanes" are not so protected only 6 inch concrete berm and plastic poles separates cyclists from speeding vehicles traveling 35+ mph.
Other than that it was a ride I needed to increase awareness.
Unedited pictures of my Chinatown Ride on Da Ridiculous Bike.
Translate the writing above church doors. I think it says 1st Chinese church in Hawaii.

The rain conveniently stopped again today, lucky me on a weekend.
A quick 23km blast down to the Mud Bay parking lot and back with a couple of detours.

Must have been the busiest I've seen the truck pullout/rest stop. Bumper to bumper...

The nemesis puddle is the longest and deepest I've seen as well...

Muckey Mouse on the way back...

Need better weather if I'm going to beat last year!

Dang…that and a permanent bridge over that puddle. Nice to know that you were able to get a ride in. It was warm here allowing the snow on the trails to become a bit too soft. Never thought that I would say this but I hope the temperature drops down enough overnight to provide a decent base to ride on in the morning.

It's the puddle that never stops giving. 🤣 Here's hoping your rides continue quickly!

See, you guys across the pond get it right with the bridge across the puddle! 🤣

I was hot rodding my Dad's mini van and I
destroyed it . So I called AAA tow to have it dispose today.
I bought a new car for him, with safety features , a Fahrvernugin VW Tiguan.
Past Saturday I had to show him basic things like how to open fuel lid, key less functions and how to open rear cargo bay with remote.
Pictures from my Chinese New Years Ride.
He 87 yo and just got his license renewed.

Over the weekend unseasonably warm temperatures did a number on the single tracks and made them a little too soft for my liking. I decided to wait until the things cooled down again before heading out onto the trails. I’m glad that I did as the mercury dropped to -10C overnight creating a hard crusty surface and at times a patchwork of ice and bare frozen ground which the studs just ate up. It was a perfect setting for a morning ride which ultimately allowed me to hustle the Levo along at a faster pace.

Making my way up to the top of the bluff along the Bench single track

Still on the Bench, this icy descent was made more challenging with dirt partially covering the trail.

GH010543 - frame at 0m13s.jpg

Near the end of the trail, this fallen log has been blocking the trail all winter long and will likely remain untouched until someone comes along with a chainsaw. Yeah, that ain’t gonna happen any time soon. The private landowners are quite tolerant of people utilizing the trail but likely wouldn't go as far as providing any degree of trail maintenance which is understandable.

The sun finally made a brief appearance on the Pines single which cheered me up for all but 30 seconds.

I spotted this cow moose and her calf feeding on one of the many poplar trees near the Kerrywood Nature Center. I was mindful of their privacy and did my best to scoot by unnoticed. Last thing I wanted to deal with was a confrontation with an irritated parent.

Closer to home along the pathway in Kin Canyon the sun peeked through the clouds long enough for me to get a shot of the bike.

I eked by with 55% charge at the start of the ride and likely had enough gas in the tank to hit another trail but decided instead to head home for lunch.
