Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

Thank you for such a detailed explanation of your outstanding photograph. What a marvelous city you live in! On my bucket list to be sure.
Fuel up Alaskan Song and come to Stockholm through the archipelago as other cruise ships do:D

Our weather has taken a turn for the worse but I decided to go for it today, despite the forecast for heavy rain! I don't mind rain when its not cold, 16C today which is perfect for cycling in the dry or the wet...

Of course I got soaked but I thoroughly enjoyed my ride in the rain and covered over 75 miles which takes my 2019 total mileage past the 2000 miles, 2074.5 to be exact! Not so many photos today due to the weather! Today was a good test for my electrics and I'm happy to report no problems :)

edit : I just noticed I passed 5000 miles on my bike today, not bad for 16 months :)

Nitro City meets Atlantic Ocean?

From South Beach, Staten Island , Ny . A calming and refreshing breeze from the Atlantic Ocean, amazing view of the many cruise ships entering/leaving Ny harbour and this is also a great spot for bird watchers (there is a small island -a bird Sanctuary).
Very clean beach, and it also has a nice 2-3miles boardwalk .

Coincidentally here in SI is one of the 2 places in Ny where UBER - JUMP has ebikes for sharing, I noticed at least a dozen on STAND BY. They were locked with a cable to the rear wheel free standing in different spots.
And also LIME has regular bikes for sharing.
I didn’t checked but most likely the Uber bikes have had their batteries ? very low that’s why nobody was riding them ?
They looked very well put toghter with a seamless design. But limited to 18mph from what i’ve read.A93B33A9-3CAD-4A67-8883-F82985FAE085.jpegC5AC9355-F5F5-4785-ACD0-B810DCB0C7C5.jpegA93B33A9-3CAD-4A67-8883-F82985FAE085.jpegC5AC9355-F5F5-4785-ACD0-B810DCB0C7C5.jpeg22B541C6-72E3-4B74-A79D-278FDE350EF8.jpegA93B33A9-3CAD-4A67-8883-F82985FAE085.jpegC5AC9355-F5F5-4785-ACD0-B810DCB0C7C5.jpeg22B541C6-72E3-4B74-A79D-278FDE350EF8.jpeg22B541C6-72E3-4B74-A79D-278FDE350EF8.jpegA93B33A9-3CAD-4A67-8883-F82985FAE085.jpeg6AE170BE-4EEB-421C-8205-034E5BA564B1.jpeg1FA28AE2-1120-430F-B34C-9E75218160F2.jpeg7AD346BF-1D31-483B-BFDD-324042CCA71F.jpegB8A1FC76-3E8D-4134-90FA-C0CB0544C3EE.jpegAE856C11-219A-4355-99F3-10425FBDABA4.jpeg

It’s too bad they don’t make a kayak rack for the bike. For now I will just have to pause and take in the local lagoons.
They actually have inflatable kayaks some are really good some not.
And thanks for mentioning b/c now i will get one and can also do kayaking. Not in very rough waters with the inflatable ones !

Rest stop, halfway on yesterday's 30m ride north of Denver along the Platte River. I find so much peace in my morning rides along the river, below the noise of civilization, birdsong for company, my depression shrunk to the smallest part of my mind.

I see you have added a handlebar bag. It looks good. What brand or model is that and does it use a Klickfix attachment?
I added the klickFix (oversized) mount, and quadlock out front mount (for my phone). The bag is the Ortlieb Ultimate Six Pro.
Still trying to determine best alternative for a water bottle. Not much room up front and under the back rack didn’t work because there is not enough clearance due to body weight.

I drink more water if I have it close to me on the handlebar and can access it at a red light...I hope this will help reduce those nasty leg cramps that surprise attack me in the evening after long rides.

Your electrolytes might be low. Sodium? Potassium? Try some online searching on replacing those during and after exercise.

Steve, I'm an advocate of the old Banana In The Handlebar Bag school... I've long been a victim of the 2AM leg cramps as well. For all I know it's a placebo effect of just telling myself this will help, but stopping at the top of a decent hill three quarters through a ride and chomping down a banana seems to make a hell of a difference. They're cheap, too!

And no, I don't throw the skins on the ground, I keep a sandwich baggie in the bag as well and get rid of it when I get home. Ever ride a path after a big road bike event? Blackening banana skins all over the place.
