Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

Friday morning on the Brisbane River (Fernvale, Queensland, Australia) ...
Just spent several days in Chicago with my 2 Aussie friends (they live in Gold Coast.) Really ratcheted up my anticipation for my Oz visit... looking forward to seeing some of the sites you've shared; 9 months ago, I would've never conceived that I might post a picture of somewhere I biked in Australia! :) !

Chris ...
Here's a zoomed-out Ride with GPS map of Friday's ride. What is shown is the extreme SE corner of Queensland. The inset highway distance signboard (Google Street View) is where the southern point of my ride (red line) passes under the main highway to the western inland towns and on to Darwin, our neighbouring state's capital. Queensland is big - the same area as Alaska. Brisbane is approximately 153 0E (farther east than the 'Far East', Beijing or Tokyo) and 23 0S (the southern equivalent of central Florida). Almost all of QLD is to the north (meaning warmer).

The green start arrow for my ride is where Jen and I live in Pine Mountain (Ipswich) inland from Brisbane. The Gold Coast, where your friends come from, is in the extreme SE on the NSW border; it has high-rise apartments, canal estates and suburbs called Pacific Palms and Miami Beach.

Yesterday's ride was the "Fort to fort" trail starting in Derby Reach Park in Fort Langley B.C.
Was very foggy when I showed up!

Uh OH!!! Lol...

Stop for a coffee and a snack!

Had lunch at the "Little Donkey beer and burritos" restaurant. I couldn't resist the name.
Awesome!

Great ride. It was maybe 25kms round trip including the Brae Island loop/trail.
Great burritos I have been there twice !

Having recently relocated I took some time today for some fun in the sun and clear cut view viewing.

Quite the maze of logging roads but the map is pretty up to date however road markers are rare

I take pics on my phone and leave the map at home, As an aside I find this useful at trailheads also.

I don’t use a tracking app anymore because of my thinking that every time there is a stop watch involved it’s a race but I will always appreciate the exact info my CA 3 display provides. New regen record today btw, lots of up starting from the beach and in between provided plenty of down. Considering the road conditions, a rigid drop bar bike on 40c tires and being alone made for a conservative cruise with no traffic on a beautiful day.

The map with all logging roads looks very exciting.

I managed to get out and cover 35 miles before the predicted heavy rain arrived, it was very pleasant and not that cold for the time of year :D About 15 mins after I got home I heard the rain boucing off my windows, so thank you weather forecasters for getting it right for once ;) 2763 miles for the year now, getting very close to my goal of 3000 :)

The most exciting part is that is only a very small section of the map!

However ending up on a dead end spur is not always that exciting unless it provides a great view and that is part of the route finding. It is Elk hunting season and I noted pick ups parked at the end of some in the distance during the ride, must be a thing sitting in your truck with a scope and hoping for the herd to appear.....lot's different than when Lewis and Clark's hunting parties roamed those hills.

American Tobacco Trail (I know; it's a weird name for a bike trail) Durham, NC

Bike is a BMW Cruise handlebar bag is an Ortlieb purchased from Thetouringstore.com (Wayne is exceptionally helpful,
something that's really useful given some of the oddities of mounting bags and racks on e-bikes)

Great looking trail. It may not be PC these days but tobacco was America's first high-value export crop. From cigar wrapper, shade grown leaf in Connecticut to Virginias and Burleys in the mid-Atlantic to Perique in Louisiana, it is all part of a long and rich history.

@steve mercier I use Weather Underground's Hourly Forecast. Even on most rainy days around here I can usually find a one or two hour window to get a ride in. If not I have an exercycle down in the basement.
That is very true around these parts, most rainy days will get that 2 hour window and I just took advantage of one to get another 50k ride in. I always bring my poncho just in case.

Random ride last Sunday. Left my home and came across the school soccer field where girls teams were battling.

Jumped down to Burns Bog and found some new trails and areas I hadn't seen before.

It was cold enough that my half gloves are now ineffective, and I shall get full coverage now.
