A fun ride with a buddy who is a very fit roadie. 33 Miles, almost all of it in tour mode with dual batteries on board. I had 68% remaining in the batteries.

Starting in our side yard with Sitka, our Weimaranaer, looking on. They down to the boat and on to the interurban trail.

The new Delight Mountain is a fun ride. It looks like kind of a heavy beast but weighs less than the Homage and is really lively and athletic. With the Bikespeed-RS, my final leg home with the rains starting was awesome. 4.78 miles in 14 minutes at an average speed of 20.1mph, 93 watt rider output in Turbo mode.

I’ve been looking at the Delight Mountain myself, too! I see yours has the OEM rack but it doesn’t look like the Mountain comes that way (at least according to RM’s site). Was it difficult to obtain the parts to put it on yourself? Or did your dealer do it for you?

This was a dealers personal bike, a 2018 when the rack was an available option on the mountain. It had 890 miles on it when I bought it. It is a surprisingly lively and eager bike. I just did a 40 mile ride in less than 2.5 hours at an average speed of 16.5 with around 1800 feet up and down, mostly in EMTB mode. I got home with 54% power remaining in both batteries. The bike has some serious legs.

Last week I was dressed for Siberia and this week it was the Bahamas ;) That's Scotland for you :p It was such a glorious day for cycling, sadly time was the enemy today but I did manage 43.6 very enjoyable miles on some amazing roads :D One of those roads is reminiscent of the corkscrew at Laguna Seca, I remember struggling up it pre e bike ;) On one of the descents I hit 45.1 mph, with a tight hairpin at the bottom with speed bumps I was so glad I had disc brakes to slow me down! Total miles for 2019 now 1151, I hope this amazing weather lasts but I doubt it! Its now the time of year where I have to choose between the e bike and the motorbike, tomorrow the motorbike wins :)

Wonderful Easter Sunday ride. Caught up couple from Leicestershire, who where on MTB's touring the area. Took them off their phone route. They enjoyed it so much, invited me to share their packed lunch with them. Unfortunately all meat sandwiches, been a veggie I had to, with regret decline the invite. Though I did take them to a very nice picnic spot. Pics are of, Beverley Bandstand in the market square, Beverley Bar Gate (East Yorkshire Motor Services) actually had bespoke double decker buses with domed roofs made. In order to facilitate passege onto York through the bar. All traffic leaving Beverley heading North has to pass under. As you can guess? It Leeds to long hold ups. Also St. Mary's Parish church, a mini version of Beverley Minster. Finally a good old British Boozer.

My boss very kindly gave me the afternoon off to go cycling (it helps that he is also a cyclist ;)) and I made the most of a very beautiful day :D 60 miles of pure fun, it sure beats work :D 2019 total is now 1211 miles which leaves 2789 for my target! I'm getting so close to 1 million feet climbed since I started using my gps at the end of 2011, currently at 994,181:eek:
