Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

On my last ride I had some problems with my electrics, I was only getting assist up to 11mph:( Thankfully it was back to normal today and although it wasn't the nicest day I managed 41.5 miles, that will be my final ride for this year with a total distance of 3270 miles so I'm happy with that:) I should make 4000 next year all going well, I could even stretch to 5000 if I get my way ;) Not the greatest pics today but better than nothing:p I hope 2019 will be a good year, all the best everyone :)

Congratulations on a great year of riding. You posts and photos are always appreciated. Wishing you and yours a healthy and active 2019.

"some problems with my electrics, I was only getting assist up to 11mph:(" Did you solve the problem RabH? Good images. Looks like a wild and lonely area. Congratulations on your cycling. All the best for 2019 (and Brexit).

Amazing miles. I hope to do half that many for 2019. Just hit 1,000 miles this year. Many of those were off road though. Have a great year everyone.

Last ride for 2018. A short cycle along the Yarra River and Koonung trails. Fairly hot in Melbourne with a gentle breeze. This is very much an urban ride so lots of people on the trail with kids trying out their Christmas bikes.

From the EXIF data embedded within the above image I see that you are using an iPhone 6, David, would that be correct? If so, it produces some pretty impressive images I must say.

Not had a ride for a few weeks now as a result of other things either getting in the way or the weather being thoroughly miserable. The time is not being wasted, however, with lots of routes/tours in the planning for 2019 not to mention of course thoroughly enjoying reading what other forum members are getting up to.

On that note, I'll take this opportunity of wishing you and yours a good slide into 2019 with good health with which to remain active and enjoy plenty more rides to come.

It actually cured itself, I suspect it was due to water ingress but I can't be sure! It was certainly wild yesterday, check out the wind sock on one of the pics ;) Thank you and all the best to you for 2019, the B word should be banned :p

@Tim859

I have this amazing bike to thank for those miles, I do help it along of course ;) 1000 miles off road is good going so pat yourself on the back, all the best for 2019:)

@David Berry

Stop it, you are making me so jealous :p

Today was my 50th ride on my e bike so I made it a 50 miler, conditions were a little cold but I was dressed to suit! It was a day to stay away from the quiet back roads due to ice but thankfully the main roads weren't too busy so it was a very enjoyable trip in lovely Winter sunshine :) There was a massive flock of geese in one of the fields, I managed to catch a pic of about a quarter of them on my phone;)

Dave I must confess I'm liking it more than I thought and glad that I got it instead of the Quick E....maybe in part to the 'deal'. It's been a great work out which has had a dramatic effect on my tricky lower back!

I went thru quite an odyssey trying different full wrap fender options that included the newly released SKS Bluemels 75 U which are for front suspension bikes with wider tires. Sadly they just didn't fit right without some modifications so I settled on these SKS numbers which half the price, a snap to remove and do the job.

The KineKT Body Float seat post is very nice on the butt and back too. I used to ride a road bike years ago with Look clipless pedals which worked well so I picked up some Crank Brothers pedals that I use with a pair of mtn bike shoes with cleats. Nice to walk in and I can spin the pedal to the other side to go sans clip in.

I opted for the Giant grips with bar ends which are essentially clones of the Ergon G4/5 only less than half the price.....very comfy.

I road into Sidney to watch the brave have their New Year Polar dip and the round trip was 22.1 Km. Used 22% of the battery in Eco/Eco+.

Just pouring out now though.... :mad:

Nicely done Ron!
Would appreciate a link for those front and rear fenders. I snapped my rear one off a couple of weeks ago.
She looks great!:cool:
