Close enuff ! It says Daimler Benz on the hubcaps and I do not know the exact year but it looks pre-1960 to me.

Miami Beach has a 10 miles of bike trail/beach walk extending from the south tip to the north tip. Part of it is dirt trail, boardwalk and pavers. Very scenic ride and next to the ocean.

Not a bad guess Alan. It does look similar to a 1947 Hudson Commodore.

What tipped me off was the "BENZ" sign in the upper right of the photo.

That is what my wife thinks too. I thought it was a Golden eagle but I am not sure.

Could be a type of Greater Spotted Eagle? They seem to be mostly "across the pond" though...

I had a terrific cycle today. From Heathcote to Axedale, part of the O'Keefe Trail to Bendigo - a major inland city. The ride was isolated and hot. I saw only one other cyclist, but lots of kangaroos.
