I would try getting a hold of Schwalbe tech support. If this is truly a defective tire they may be willing to replace it. I would sure do that before I warped my rim to compensate for a bad tire.

It wasn't that bad and I could ride no-hands comfortably until I added the spare battery to the rack, then the effect was amplified and the wobble would go out of control.

When I had my hands on the handlebars I didn't feel any wobble at all.
So in a way I'm just being fussy, and I don't mind trying to fix it myself.
I've been warping and unwarping wheels since I was 12 years old.
It just takes time, patience, and a lot of trial and error.

I never aim for perfect. Good enough is always good enough, and if I can ride no-hands with two batteries, then that would be good enough.

One thing that I did notice though, is that the tires came double folded into a figure 8 with a zip ties holding it.
It's a wire bead tire, so they couldn't roll it up, but I thought that it would be shipped flat and not put into a square package.
The tires did had a few kinks in the bead when I unfolded them, then they sat for three months before I installed them, so it was too late for an Amazon return.

I just bought a heavy duty stapler to make straps.

I've been stitching them by hand, and I Suck at it !!!
This took me almost an hour,.. 😂

I've got staple guns, but I needed something with a bottom plate.

That one seems nicer, but it’s much larger. Size will matter if this is going inside a downtube. That’s where I’d have mine installed. I actually looked at that particular one, but got this one instead.

All the ones we have mentioned have different current output, so that is also a consideration.

I built a torque wrench,..

IMG-20160516-150638-zpsz5frztne.jpg

I stood on the wooden step (wire brush) at 1 foot from the fulcrum to give me 165 ft lbs of torque.

The rear hub motor has too much drag, and I couldn't find the heavy spot, so I placed the weight opposite of the high spot on the tire.

I made a hub motor balancing and truing machine,..

I bought some bearings that fit over the axle so the whole motor can spin.

I used a piece of PEX pipe that fit over the axle to hold the motor cable straight with the axle to keep it balanced.

Street signs come in all shapes and sizes. Don’t think about using a street sign.

I've tried that, and it doesn't work.
The staples just get all mangled.

You need to have the base plate to curl the staple around,..

I've got a stapler that with a base plate that will curl the staples in or out.

I think they should make a staple gun with a magnetic base plate that would line up with magnets on the staple gun to line up the base plate.
Then you wouldn't need to have them connected with all the clearance issues that creates.
I remember sewing a windsurf sail and I had to roll up the whole sail and stuff it in the opening in the sewing machine.

My heavy duty stapler and stainless steel staples arrived,..

There's a lot more clearance with more depth and a bigger opening, but it would be cool if they could make a stapler or hand operated stitcher that had a self allinging base plate.

I had 3 of these hand stitchers, but I threw them out after one too many stab wounds.

Poking yourself with a needle when you're sewing is bad enough, but that damn thing will drive the needle right through your hand when you're trying to stitch tow straps. 😂

just don't skid your rear wheel or back to balancing

Yeah, no kidding, and I love skidding. 😂

I thought I was safe to skid on hard pack dirt/gravel, but I checked my tire and even that wore a flat spot in the tread.
I can only skid on loose gravel without wearing out my tread.

I used solder wrapped around a couple spokes, and a metal valve cap that is also a valve core tool.

They should make a stapler gun with needles that poke through the material then feed into a baseplate to line up the plate for a staple.
Something like this,..

Or the needles could be on the base plate.

Then you could put staples in the middle of a carpet or something without having to roll the carpet up and stuff it in the opening of the sewing machine or stapler.
And you would need to spend a few grand on an Industrial sewing machine with a bigger opening.

Even industrial sewing machines don't have a very big opening,..
