Nothing rides like a silk-casing sew-up.
As I'm sure nothing taste like an all steel can beer 🙃

sew-ups definitely do still exist.
I'm just starting the restoration of a frame i raced back in the early 80s, which will have sew-ups (Tubular tires that glue to the rim, instead of having a bead, for the rest of you folks)

got it too for some dumb reason it came with a t10 but not a more used t20 when your done with it. set it to 0 or you will loose accuracy.
Always set em back to zero, even the bigger one.
Just set my suspension post. No more guessing.

I’m not much of a bike mechanic and it’s probably boring but I really like my new little Pro Bike Tool torque wrench. Went through our Allant+7 bikes and it was very easy to set and use. Certainly not a required tool but I feel safer knowing I can set our bikes to the specific manufacturer’s torque.

I was looking at that yesterday on Amazon (I think it was 2-20 nm) and debating on it. Part of me wants to do things on my own, but part of me is nervous it will lead to overconfidence and trying to change things - like my groupset or something else - that might break lol 😆

I have not tried sew ups on electric bikes. I guess I never thought of it.

One of the problems with soldering connections for a clean build instead of using ugly connectors is that soldering takes at least three hands. This tool helps with that problem.

Quickly determines whether bicycle frame or fork dropouts are aligned and parallel.
Someday I'm going to build my own bike from scratch, and I'm going to be using one of these... for now I'm stuck taking every issue to my LBS for repair 😅

I knew they had to have something like this. Sometimes I wonder if my bike is straight or my fork on backwards. This would help to have on hand

In order to get free multi-course meals prepared by a French Chef three times each week for the rest of 2022, I had to find a solution. How do you mount a mid-drive in an American 51.5 bottom bracket? Here is the answer. The tool or piece of equipment to get the job done is an eccentric converter to English 34.8. The other photo is of a BLT she makes. It is actually an LGBTQ because it has guacamole and has queso melted into the bacon. The bacon is free range and gamey with apple wood smoke. The queso is Cow Girl Redhawk.
