Panniers

Not really panniers in the strictest sense but this Racktime Odin bag has pretty good sized zip-out pannier pockets. Very hard to find these days.

I've had great luck with Arkel panniers. I use both the T-28 and T-42 sizes depending on what I'm carrying.

I'm not sure about the fit on an NCM bike though. The Arkels are designed for 1/2" or smaller rack rails. The rails on my bike are 5/8" so I had to make this simple adapter with a short piece of 1/2" tubing and some insulated cable clamps:

I'm really interested in this thread, as I've got a new commuter ebike coming soon and I need to purchased a set of quality panniers for it.

I have a pair of Arkel Orcas out of Quebec but I have never owned panniers before so I have nothing to compare them too. I had considered the High Viz Ortliebs in Post #4 above, but they were considerably more money for a pair.

Amazon ones, top one clips off and becomes a shoulder bag with a strap ;)

Topeak for the hardtail.

Now with the rear suspension on the Stance I am re-thinking this approach.
But hardtail? Works a treat!
