I'm a fairly old codger, but still above the ground. Very interested in finding the right ebike. I have crummy knees. I'm 6' tall and about 220 these days. My inseam is 29". I'm looking at the Aventor Aventura stepthrough and wondering which frame might suit me best. No place around here for a trial. Mostly will ride on decent trails, mostly paved, but some probably not. Mild hills. Would like to know how much the Aventura battery and compartment weighs, and any other knowledge and advice that might be given. Thanks!

I would recommend a stepthrough frame. I have a 29 inch inseam and can move pretty well. I have a Magnum Scout, top bar is set just below my tender parts. My frame is considered a Small/Medium. A stepthrough will help you and your knee.

Hello and welcome to EBR, lots of friendly and helpful people. I think you‘re talking about the Aventon Aventure ebike. A good bike with a good company to stand behind your purchase. I’m thinging for your physical size, I would go with the step-thru. With bad knees, I think it’s a no brainer. In addition to your bad knees you must consider mouting and dismounting your bike. As we age, we are not as flexible we once were and it doesn’t get better. For mor more information on this bike type in the search engine the name and model bike, or you could visit their website. Good luck and remember to ride safe and responsibly.
