Interface Problem- Does anyone know how to troubleshoot the interface on a Stromer ST-1?

I recently broke the mounting pedestal on my interface. My dealer here in Alaska closed so I shipped my bike to a dealer in Seattle and had it replaced. After much anticipation I got the bike back. Now the bike only offers any assist if I hold the boost on in power mode (therefore I know the signal is getting from the unit to the motor). There are no error codes. I have checked the sensitivity code and increased it from 50 to 80 with no success. Any help would be appreciated. Shipping it back to Seattle will be an expensive proposition , not to mention I will lose the rest of the summer riding season.
