I now have to change out..........

Now,
I have to change out the shift sensor on the Jugg 4 bike,
I don't know how the top chain got flipped up on the top of the main shift sensor wire,
(I had just finished riding thru a heavy patch of sage brush really crowded the trail),
as a result the chain cut thru the shifter wire.

The bike is/has been acting weird now, a ticking sound from around that area...
I haven't shifted to any other gears, since I found the cut wire..........

I have to drop the motor to get access where the shift cable is plugged into the wiring harness,
to do the exchange etc.. any thing I should be aware of, as I have never done this before.........

Well guys
I have changed out the shift sensor, took me about an hour,
pulled the left side motor plate cover which exposed all the bikes wiring,
took me a few minutes to find the correct plug to plug the new SS into,
then gently stuffed all the wiring back on top of the motor housing,
very limited space, screwed the 3 screws into their places.

I tilted the bike onto the kick stand and ran the throttle/shifted gears and everything appeared to work perfectly. The motor revved to a higher sound, it sounded like, I'll have to give it a check ride when the rain leaves and the wind isn't blowing a gale etc.
