Hoverboard Ebike build bldc motor wiring question

I am wondering if this controller:

can successfully power this motor:

The controller has a hall line with 5 wires and the motor has a sensor connector with 5 wires.

My question is, are the hall wires of the controller able to connect to the sensor wires of the motor?

Yes, providing you connect the Hall wires in the right order, relative to the three phase wires. Since that controller has self learning, it should be able to work with any wire order, as long as power/ground are correct on the Hall plug..

Typically, you connect the two learning wires the first time the controller powers up. The motor should spin briefly forward. Then you disconnect the learning wires, and the next time you power it up, everything should work,
