Hi-Vis colors?

I like pear lIzumi, please share screen shot of how I may have hi vis with sleeves detachable?
I Google pearl Izumi?

I got this during an REI sale, highly recommended.

I have a white helmet. I got some 1/4" wide white reflective tape and put subtle tape stripes all over it - stripes are barely noticeable during the day, and I look like an alien at night.

Otherwise, lights, lights, reflective material and lights. PlanetBike has a 2-pack of Button Blinky amber LED's you can strap on anywhere, I bought 2 2-packs and have one on each front fork and on rear frame. https://www.planetbike.com/button-blinky-side-set/

I have been wondering if there are some amber flashing lights.

Those look like a great accessory!

I wonder if someone has a rechargeable version of that?

Up until several months ago we rode with whatever color our comfortable clothes displayed — often very dark to black.

Then our riding group adopted hi-vis T-shirts. Soon thereafter we added hi-vis jackets, some got hi-vis helmets, etc. Now it has become more common to see hi-vis among area bikers everywhere than dark/dull.

Now, we never ride without hi-vis clothing. Is that too weird? A real benefit is vehicles very rarely DON’T stop for us at intersections.

Are you riding with hi-vis clothing?
I get people pointing at me when I wear this, even in the daylight it reflects sunlight like a mirror.
At night it can be seen from the Moon.

These are rechargeable and have multiple settings.
I put two reds facing for side view, on my bike.

I was wondering how the yellowcolor was reflective like that. I assume they have the reflective material on the reverse side.
I have the retro-reflective rather than the yellow. It appears a dull gray until you shine a light on it when it gets very bright.

My bike wears hi-viz, too. I also managed to convince my traditionally black riding husband that he was completely effing invisible and now he wears neon green, too. It's like this: fewer young people are driving, thus boomers are a larger proportion of the drivers out there on the road. Boomers are losing their eyesight, getting cataracts, and just generally have slower reflexes than they used to. Wearing hi-viz is only sensible.

^I love that jacket. Ventilation under arms with heat transfer black. Easy access pockets. Are those removable sleeves? With extended epaulettes that go under the collar with Velcro? Extra-long arms!! Neck protection with room for a scarf. Nobody has an eBike jacket like this. No one at any price. It is so very cool. Long tail too. Amazing. Wow. You have topped us all.

Thank you! It's not actually a cycling jacket and it's not perfect, but I agree, it's awful shnazzy😃. It is quite waterproof - - in a driving downpour, only my elbows got a bit of seepage. The sleeves are not removable. But it is also not all that breathable. However, it cuts the wind really well, which is probably more important for ebiking. (More likely to get chilled on an ebike than overheated.)

The sleeve forearms are a tad tight, so I inserted zippers in the sleeves for space and vents. But I still can only wear one layer on my arms under it. So on colder days I wear a long sleeved turtleneck plus a Tshirt, whereas sometimes I wish I could wear a sweater or sweatshirt, too. Maybe the men's version has roomier sleeves.

It is made by Kishigo as regular hi-vis workwear: https://www.hivissupply.com/ml-kishigo-js144-black-series-ladies-soft-shell-jacket-class-3.html. It is a size L that I am wearing in the pic.

The men's version is: https://www.hivissupply.com/mlkishigo-js137-class-3-softshell-jacket.html

They're even on sale, I see!
