Groundbreaking *4 wheel* simplicity???

Delivery in January. They seem to have some slots open as of the 26th.
I ordered one for my wife. I have been told that they are moving the pedals forward in the initial batch. Handlebars fold down. A seat is coming for the rear basket.
Not the first that I have seen with the tilting wheels yet the first that I have weighing 120#. Wish that it had a bigger motor and battery yet I like the design and its ability to be modded (haters of the Soletri for this very reason please pile on now).
As offered, you'll be needing a spare battery and a diet or skinny mate if you ever two-up due to the friction yet I can't think of anything out there at this price point (I took another 5% off for signing up for updates) or please forgive given the shear number to choose from. Not cheap yet I wanted to get in before the tariffs began in earnest with a known manufacturer/warranty.

What do you think?
 
That SixThreeZero company has been around for awhile, so you shouldn't have any worries. We (especially me) would love a review when you get it.
 
With four wheels what is it legally classified as. My state has a classification something called an electric personal mobility device (EPMD). So maybe that's what it is.
 
A few things that I figured out from watching the videos:
They apparently didn't put a larger motor in it due to California's limitations of some sort.
There are plans to use that space behind the seat for a passenger's feet (see the rear seat mention above).
A video was released today that showed it at the water's edge on the hard pack sand (not much to see). It could barely get out of the soft sand where it had stopped for obvious reasons.

I'm not much of a reviewer save for blunt praise or criticism yet will offer same when I can. I'm also in the snowball so somebody will probably review it a long time before I ever get a chance to ride it. My plan is to see just how crowded the pedals are after they move them forward and how far back and down I can get a seat with a back (more of an office chair style). The problem that I see with this *without stretching it* is no weight on the front wheels. I think stretching is almost a must as I can't see the front working without minimum downforce. I also need to figure out the handlebar reach obviously as the center of gravity lowers.

Is it worth all of the fuss? I think so yet will have to see it in person first.
 
At least they're dealing with the granny trike tip-over thing. I would like more on the front wheel linkage. Maybe it leans. It seems like one rear wheel is driven by pedal, and the other wheel by the motor.
There might be a market where they're headed. E-mobility is a wild card!

That is exactly what I said. Most of us have seen the same basic design in more complicated machines yet I've not seen it in a basic form. When they (or whoever gets there first for possibly less) get the recumbent-style center of gravity issue down, look out.
I would like more on the front wheel linkage. Maybe it leans.
If you look at others who have tried it; I'm not sure that it is designed much differently. It makes sense though that there would be a minimum weight forward on the linkage/wheels for it to even matter/be most effective.
It seems like one rear wheel is driven by pedal, and the other wheel by the motor.
I haven't investigated whether there are different types of rear differentials out there in the market nor looked hard at this one. I wouldn't buy another trike or quad without one.

Again, you hit the nail right on the head for me. It doesn't make a lot of sense (at least to me at my age) to have 4 wheels/stability and no way to use it. I get the fact that you'll probably have to stretch it like the Addmotor M360 and add a decent seat even better than what 6030 just did with their 'office chair' trike yet I'm willing to cut it up. Pretty useless to me if I'm risking breaking my neck on it from the current seat height/position no matter how stable it's advertised as.
If you could easily slide in to a chair with a nice comfortable back/bolstering/armrests and it boasted a larger motor **with the same easy reach handlebar access as their SimpleGlide trike**(?)...how many would they sell?
I would probably get sucked in for another one if this market holds up..which is a big 'if' given the obvious and the reason that I decided to buy now.
Everything is there for a basic mobility vehicle. It just needs a little tweaking which no manufacturer (for some reason) has been willing to tackle.
I almost bit on the SimpleGlide and would have save for my remembering that it is a trike and that my wife would be in it who is not Lance Armstrong by any means.

I love state/local control yet it sure did screw over 6030 in equipping the motor/battery needed here.
How you put two people on this and go anywhere of significance is beyond me unless you over-inflate the tires and at least one is a very young child.
We've got to get these spare battery work arounds figured out as well. These manufacturers are already being forced to sell spares at outrageous prices and I don't see things getting any better in the near future.

Depending on your location I myself wouldn't worry about the man messing with you. Around here if your're using common sense the police don't mess with you. If your a teenager hauling butt and running red lights you'll get stopped. If your a old guy like me chilling on the way to grab some bread and milk you'll be fine.

Looking at this quad cycle its the combination of front end of that neat reverse trike in the front that SixThreeZero makes and that HUGE rickshaw rear end they make also. Strange yet neat at the same time. I also forgot that they have that guy doing the riding demos on their website. I like that reverse trike thing they sell myself. Again, if you buy it we want a review!

Purchased. It's supposedly being produced right now overseas with spots still open on that first January shipment as of this week.
I'll ride it around whether there's snow on the ground or not yet don't expect much of a review.
I'm too old/opinionated and (apparently) finding out the hard way that many expect (today) to be spoon fed the truth.
I just wasn't raised that way. :)
I screenshot the following as an example of just how far back the seat must be set for what I'm gathering is an average height person to achieve full leg extension and avoid too much upward knee extension on the up pedal.
This is the challenge that I see with the Anyterrain as the seat is lowered if those pedals aren't moved forward far enough and a frame extension is required (which seems inevitable).

That picture of the green pedal forward trike looks like the AddMotor trikes that my local shop sells. Things are HUGE when you get up close to one in person but you know I'll take one for a spin when the weather is nice and I have extra time to spare! I believe the AddMotors have a throttle as well. Oh, the shop that sells the AddMotor trikes used to sell Pedego and they're blowing out all the leftover Pedego stock. Wonder if a Pedego trike is in the blowout sale? Those trikes ride so nice.
 
Yep I forgot to add that the photo was of an Addmotor 'M360' I believe yet they call it something else now like 'Artisean'(?) or something similar and added a rear differential as compared to earlier models. I think that I mentioned that I had the original Addmotor front hub motor Soletri (now rear motor/rear diff equipped) and like it for what it is. The latter got me hooked in to a lower center of gravity/adjustable siting position (banana seat) and having somewhat of a suspension underneath.
I haven't figured out how aftermarket suspension will work with this Anyterrain yet it sure would be nice to figure out something/anything in the end.
I shared the pic as I'm just not a big fan of any high knee raising when you get in to a lower seating position which that Addmotor model doesn't seem to have a problem with due to its seat/pedal distance/angle.

aren't those semi recumbents supposed to be more stable(I cannot do a "Delta")
 
I rode the Pedego trike and it was very stable. The Delta trikes are a acquired taste but I hear once you get used to it they perform great. I've never ridden a Delta trike so I have no first hand experience. I don't like being that low to the ground, I feel that cars wont see you.

I also like the Pedego trike because its not super huge. Those AddMotor trikes are beast! Side note that's off topic. I have a Honda Fit for a beater car. Its actually a perfect car for my needs. My wife and I stopped into a little community market and they had a vendor selling golf carts. They had a base model stereotypical golf cart and a deluxe golf cart that was larger than my Fit! This golf cart was comically huge! It had bigger wheels, sat higher off the ground and had a push bar with a winch! It didn't have A.C. though like my little car.

had a clapped out Honda Fit for a couple of years, not really a bad little car,oth it really had no advantages over a civic except for the hatchback,so light on the front end didn't have much traction,easy to park about the same gas mileage as the Civic though.If buying new would go for a civic or accord,currently own a Ford Maverick( which is a surprising vehicle except for the Ford electronics)
 
The Fit is a 2016 and has around 60,000 miles. Its cheap enough that I don't worry about it but new enough that I take care of it. My wife still has her 05 Subaru Baja with 240,000ish miles last I looked. She hasn't found anything she likes to replace it with. She does like the Hyundai Santa Cruz a little bit but I don't know anyone who is really impressed with their Hyundai. They bought a Hyundai because they couldn't afford a Toyota or Honda, and/or fell for that 10 year warranty that I doubt Jesus could get Hyundai to honor should something fail. And if Subaru brought the Baja back we'd pass because the 2018 Crosstrek we had was a piece junk, ALWAYS had computer issues. The Honda Ridgeline is to big for our parking space, she doesn't like the lines of the Ford Maverick and all the former small pickups (Ranger and Tacoma) have gotten huge and ridiculous so that leaves few options for us.

I think that I said it earlier, yet I just want something that has the opportunity to carry me in to an advanced age (God willing) versus spilling me all over the road. If I'm not sitting down somehow under just as many wheels as possible(?) I don't know how that happens.
If I can't limp/gimp my way in to it or peel myself out of it (easily) it's really of no use to me down the road.
What will probably happen is that someone will come along and build exactly what I need just about the time that I get done cutting this all up to make it that way.
if they do so and actually give it a proper suspension (or even relatively inexpensive room for improvment ala the Soletri) both front and rear to boot(?)...
...yeah I'll be more than a little disappointed. ;)
 
...I must be tough to satisfy as I really haven't been with the last two electrics purchased in terms of wanting to make wholesale changes right away.
Saying that, I really like my Soletri despite not having had chance to do a thing with it.
Maybe this Anyterrain needs an extended old-fashioned mini-bike seat such as the above boasts...
 
If you change out the seat you'll open a rabbit hole of options. Some mopeds (like the gas powered ones that got popular in the 70's) use regular seat post style seats. PUCH had some comfy ones! Go to Treatland.tv and hop into the seat section!

agree,I can at least reach over into the bed on the Maverick,I do not expect that little peppy 4 cylinder to last as long as that torqey 4.0 v6 in the Nissan,the Nissan was actually more less a real truck while the Maverick is an interesting niche vehicle like the Baja or that small 4 Dr thing ford used to make.
