Experience with adding Lupine SL to Haibike Sduro

Hi All -
I recently bought a Haibike Sduro Fullseven 7.0. It's a wonderful bike and a great experience so far. I did some research to add a light and finally arrived at the Lupine SL since their website provided a comprehensive video showing installation/integration with the Bosch CX performance system and Purion controller. The installation went pretty well. Note to anyone who wished to do something similar: you may find fishing the wires through the frame to be the most challenging portion of the install.

My problem is that the Purion controller does not seem to recognize that a light is installed. A long press-and-hold of the "+" button should turn the light on/off. This is not working. Has anyone here experienced this problem? Can you recommend what I can do about it?

That is because of the settings on the Bosch diagnostic portal (lights always on).
If you take your bike to any Bosch authorized place, they can connect it to the portal and turn it off.

Thank you for the reply. I really wish the Lupine site was clearer about this. I'm very experienced mechanically and with electrical systems but if I knew ahead of time that I would need to run a SW diagnostic tool only available to dealers to make my lights work, I would not have purchased the $300 light from Lupine. I'm really disappointed by this. I hope others can be made aware to avoid this.
