Electronic shifting vs Manual shifting

At redbull.com there is an article with a video embedded concerning electronic shifting advantages: http://www.redbull.com/en/bike/stories/1331662872305/is-electronic-shifting-the-future . I think that this would be a cool option to have on an ebike.

Well Shimano has a very slick Ultegra DI elctronic shifting system.. I've used it on a Giant Road bike

It makes sense that electric shifters would make their way into mainstream ebike usage. I'd use them for sure!
