Anyone tried a lightweight ebike conversion kit on the Scott Addict?

FWIW the US distributor did quickly answer a few Q I had. From what I could gather from their message the torque sensing function seems to be virtual by combining input from the PAS functions along with a built in inclinometer as there was no mention of a strain gauge type torque sensor. IMO they could better define what "dynamic torque sensing" consists of in their marketing.

Agree. Their marketing is poor. If they got that right, they would take over the ebike conversion market in most countries. Its a bad day when I am the external expert in their stuff 😆

Have you seen the little Truckrun bottom bracket motors? I am trying to research these and get more info, but hit a brick wall. No response from the manufacturer. It is incredibly frustrating.

Nothing that I'm sure you haven't already seen. Looks like they're meant only to supply bike manufacturers rather than to the public. The M11 looks interesting, how would you incorporate it without being able to build a frame specifically for it ?

I am not sure yet how to incorporate it, but would hope that China would design frames to accommodate it for diy builds. I hope it does not go the route of canbus or communication protocol, as that is just annoying. The quicker "right to repair" becomes a thing the better.
