An Ebike that is as easy to pedal (when power is off) as a regular bike

If you don't need the leaderboard, cadence, onscreen resistance level and heart rate, then save the $2k+ from buying the Peloton bike and buy a trainer/rollers for your current bike and then use the app.
You can get cadence, heart rate with third party hardware/apps/devices
You can also get power with power meter pedals! (My Vectors were on my spin bike until yesterday when I moved them onto my eBike). And actually the Keiser spin bike I have also reports all those metrics (including power). The pedals were from an old spin bike that didn't have that ability and I moved them to the Keiser as then I also had the data to send to Garmin Connect.

Hi John, Not sure if this is useful info to you - if not someone else may be able to use it. If you look at the posts upper left hand corner I see that previous to your post 15 min ago the last time this thread was posted on was Nov 11, 2020. I can click on your screen name and see that in spite of the fact that it lists you as a "new member" you joined in Sept 2021 and have 30 posts - so I won't welcome you like you just joined. Going a bit further if I click on the previous poster I see "minigrrl"s posts show she last was here on Nov 26, 2021 - I'm not sure she is still thinking about this.

But....who knows, she or someone else may well love your update and info.

I always think of these threads like an encyclopedia of info on a topic that others may research and be benefited by years down the road. Glad you're posting on EBR.
