2019 Homage - customized shifting

Hi,

as promised, here are some pics of my new bike.
It's a 2019 Homage HT Vario HS.

The dealer (a certified bosch expert center, and a certified enviolo center) was willing to upgrade the bike to automatic shifting.
H-sync was not an option, because that has to be implemented at the factory, and R&M was unwilling to do this.

So we had to go the stand-alone route.
I chose the simpler 3-button shifter, which lets you choose from 3 different cadences.
These can easily be changed by the dealer with some special software.
Right now they are set at 60, 70 and 80 rpm, until I find the sweet spot for me.

No matter the speed, the hub will make sure that your cadence is within a range of -5 to +5 rpm in relation to the desired cadence.
So when 80 is selected, the bike will downshift at 75 rpm, or upshift at 85 rpm.

This works brilliantly, and very intuitively.
I never have to touch my shifter anymore, which is a big reason for choosing the much smaller version, instead of the bigger gripshift (electronic) shifter.

VERY HAPPY WITH MY DECISION!!

@wannesd
I know this is an old thread, but can you give us an update on how you like the range of the Enviolo with the harmony?
Also, with the 3 button setup, do you have access to both automatic and manual mode, or only automatic?

On the bright side, I see R&M is now offering the automatiQ option on the Nevo with Enviolo...
May be they will offer it on the homage at one point if they like how it goes with the Nevo :)
