1060 miles in July

Whooda thunkit? I crossed some sort of threshold toady. In July, I cycled1060 miles.

The first week was on my R&M Nuvinci GH which my wife fell in love with. What Nancy wants, Nancy deserves to get. On the afternoon of the 6th, my R&M Homage Rohloff HS arrived. I started riding it the next day and have put over 800 miles on it in 24 days.

When I finished cardiac rehab, I never dreamed that my new exercise program, an ebike, would be so much fun, so easy to stick with and so beneficial to every aspect of my health, especially cardiac and joints.

Ebiking is making the prospect of a long and healthy life much more probable. I am so grateful.

Congrats!

I did 580 for July, and did it in spite of every day but 4 being 100 degree plus. Some were 112. Hot summer in a Texas, but we were due one.
I presume you rode in the morning. I did my best to avoid temps over 85 by riding early on the hot days.

Yes mornings, but often it is mid 80’s at 7am. By 8 the sun is blazing, and by 10 it’s often 95. I did do a beer run at 105... some of the best beer I ever had ;)

I’m ready for Fall!

November around here rains sideways with winds over 30 knots or more twice weekly or more. I'm not looking forward to that.

Congratulations on the milestone! I don't know if or when I'll hit 1,000 in a month while working. As I mentioned to you, I tipped 600 in July, though I missed several days to crazy rain. I've since ridden twice in downpours so I'm maybe not as concerned about getting caught in the (summer) rains now.
I agree with you 100%: I never dreamed that my new exercise program, an ebike, would be so much fun, so easy to stick with and so beneficial to every aspect of my health.

Congratulations Alaskan! I envy your location and ability to ride frequently.

I live in the Pocono Mountains of northeast PA and don't have the ability to ride from home. My favorite trails are an hour or more away which requires dedicating most of a day to do a ride.

I bought my Pedego Platinum Interceptor in mid April of this year but due to hip surgery, I wasn't able to start riding until mid May. I have just under 500 miles logged since then. Ebikes have renewed my 30+ year love of cycling and as you say, the health benefits are just fantastic!

Congrats Alaskan. Nice pic! My new ebike is fantastic exercise and my wife's Specialized Como 3.0 is on the way. I'm looking forward to our rides together. Great couples activity.

My wife and I rented a couple of R and M Nuvinci GH's a month ago. Very nice bike.

I envy your location. A little warn down here in Central Texas.
