My Impression of the Luna Mighty Mini Display (Bafang 500C) on the Hydra

Perhaps he can get his hands on the ones from Innotrace instead would be interesting to know what they are like and how they work with the Archon, I would hope Innotrace knows how to get a display working with their own controller or they wouldn't be selling them as such.

My Impression of the Luna Mighty Mini Display (Bafang 500C) on the Hydra

Innotrace who makes the Archon seems to have two displays that look a whole lot like an Eggrider: https://innotrace-shop.de/produkt-kategorie/displays/

WW FS Commuter - Hydra or Titanium FS

Trail geometry but still upright, at least 1000 watt hours, suspended rack. I remember when 100mm was a lot of travel for a mountain bike, seriously these can do a lot both on and off road. I agree the integrated battery looks better, mostly, but that Ti full suspension looks good in its own...

    Hydra as a commuter?

This is what everyone wants, tires the work well on and off road along with the rest of the bike, full suspension, large battery, suspended rack, nice fenders, its why R&M is charging $10-12k and there is a waiting list.

    Hydra as a commuter?

This is what I would do for my Hydra, maybe even 2.8, but I want an SUV of a bike: https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/schwalbe-johnny-watts-user-club.41674/post-408429

    Hydra Chainline Issue Fixed

Looks like the difference in diameter between 46 and 52 is about an inch so it needs an extra 1/2 inch on that side to clear, hard to tell from the pic but it looks like it could have 1/2 inch there. Unfortunate otherwise to be able to get a good cadence at the speed these bikes can do but...

    Hydra Chainline Issue Fixed

To be able to comfortably cruise at 25mph+ you want a pretty big chainring, which I do quite a bit in the city. My Juiced has a 52 front and 11-32 rear 9 speed and the cadence is really nice all the way up through 30 mph. It could use more low range for climbing for sure, but its only 32 rear...

Full Suspension, Cargo & Step Thru Titanium Frame

Homage is a cool design but it's just a frame shape, surprised you can patent that, also very different from Superdelite. Was thinking of one of these for a Hydra: https://www.topeak.com/us/en/products/249-MTB-BeamRacks/135-MTX-BEAMRACK-(A-TYPE)

Full Suspension, Cargo & Step Thru Titanium Frame

Yes insane, need to look at it to see the specifics, but it's a rear rack attached to frame, Juiced has one on the scorpion does it infringe? https://www.juicedbikes.com/products/hyperscorpion

Full Suspension, Cargo & Step Thru Titanium Frame

Wow now this is interesting. Would love to see what trail geometry looks like, does trail still have rack and fender mounts? Really close to pulling trigger on Hydra, but this has bigger battery closer to the size I want (1KWh) and the titanium actually looks really cool and different. Would...

    Hydra Video.

That odd, the controller should be limited to not overdraw the BMS. I thought the BMS on the Hydra was 57 amps for 2300w max and the controller should not attempt to draw more than that. Don't want to have to worry about that stuff while going up a hill, would rather have it limit power than...

    Hydra Black Details Needed

Thanks for the info Pushkar, Not sure about going with a 48v battery, I like the slightly higher top speed and less sag as it drains with 52v. Might want to review the info on the page for the HB, it shows that it has a 52v 800wh battery in the comparison and the pics of a Fat tire version as well.

So much better than the larger display IMO, thanks for sharing!

    Hydra Black Details Needed

Really interested in the Hydra Black but don't want to commit without more details. Looks like a great price point to get a full suspension carbon e-bike with Bafang Ultra and Archon / Innotace controller. I want to get a good base that I can improve if needed and it seems to have decent...

Just ordered my Hydra! New Hydra Black just posted too

Not sure if I can wait much longer ;). I have had my Hardtail 80lbs hub motor Juiced for a year now and am ready for a lighter mid drive full suspension with better components like I am used to on my mountain bike. My Juiced tops out around 1200w and is good for 31mph which his fine, but I like...

Just ordered my Hydra! New Hydra Black just posted too

Thanks now I see the better pic. Yes the Innotrace controller is key for me, no mention how much the upgrade will be to 2000w, really needs a configurator like the Hydra Pro. I have Tektro on my Juiced, they are ok no issues, just single piston, there a few different levels of Tektro though, so...

Just ordered my Hydra! New Hydra Black just posted too

Congrats on the Hydra Pro! Looking very closely at Hydra and the new Black edition is interesting, if there was more details about exactly what it is (battery size, motor wattage, accurate component list) I would be very tempted to go ahead and put a deposit down. For instance the pictures of...

Hydra with Archon in Grin motor simulator

If anyone has real world data from their Hydras please share, I can then use that to try and make the simulation parameters more accurate. The main thing is trying to get a grip on wh/mi at specific speeds. Does the stock Bafang display track any of that? My Juiced display tracks wh/mi and total...

Hydra with Archon in Grin motor simulator

My current Juiced RCS feels fine with a the torque sensor always on even a constant speed, it can be turned off in the menu but not worth it. It does feel better a certain constant speeds with certain assist levels, for instance 3 out of 5 is better for 20mph cruising while 5 is too jumpy...

Hydra with Archon in Grin motor simulator

Yes this is exactly what I would want to do, utilize as a 1000w motor much of the time, but have the full 2300w on tap as needed.
