Perhaps he can get his hands on the ones from Innotrace instead would be interesting to know what they are like and how they work with the Archon, I would hope Innotrace knows how to get a display working with their own controller or they wouldn't be selling them as such.

Trail geometry but still upright, at least 1000 watt hours, suspended rack. I remember when 100mm was a lot of travel for a mountain bike, seriously these can do a lot both on and off road.

Looks like the difference in diameter between 46 and 52 is about an inch so it needs an extra 1/2 inch on that side to clear, hard to tell from the pic but it looks like it could have 1/2 inch there. Unfortunate otherwise to be able to get a good cadence at the speed these bikes can do but...
To be able to comfortably cruise at 25mph+ you want a pretty big chainring, which I do quite a bit in the city. My Juiced has a 52 front and 11-32 rear 9 speed and the cadence is really nice all the way up through 30 mph. It could use more low range for climbing for sure, but its only 32 rear...

That odd, the controller should be limited to not overdraw the BMS. I thought the BMS on the Hydra was 57 amps for 2300w max and the controller should not attempt to draw more than that. Don't want to have to worry about that stuff while going up a hill, would rather have it limit power than...

Not sure about going with a 48v battery, I like the slightly higher top speed and less sag as it drains with 52v. Might want to review the info on the page for the HB, it shows that it has a 52v 800wh battery in the comparison and the pics of a Fat tire version as well.
