    Rearview Safety Options For Ebikes

I'll have to check on that. Most of the time I use it is in the city during the day. I'll have to take some pictures of the screen on my morning commute when the sun is just starting to come up.

    Who rides in the winter?

From my experience riding in freezing temperatures, I recommend 1) electric gloves (expensive but worth it, batteries can be purchased at home depot) - I have the heated gloves 2) thick sweat pants (any discount store) + nylon outer shell that is waterproof 3) waterproof shoes (shoe covers...

    Rearview Safety Options For Ebikes

I've tried the little mirror and didn't really like it. You have to focus too much on the mirror to see. I've also tried the mirror attached to the bars and its a little easier but my arm blocks some of the view. I currently have the rear camera option tied to a small 12v battery. I replaced...

Dual motor. Mid and rear drive on RadWagon

I've had similar experiences with my Radwagon so I added a front geared hub motor (battery in blue bag). What speeds can you get with the BBSHD on the Radwagon? The gearing limits how fast you can pedal. Also where did you attach Radwagon PAS with the mid-drive?

Dork disc... Love it or lose it?

Instead of coming up with names for items on their bikes, maybe they should be focusing on becoming a better rider.

    Anyone using a rear camera?

That's a video recording camera. I thought it was a rear view camera like in cars. I use a rear camera but its connected to a front screen on my handle bars so I can see who is coming up behind me.

    Cassette Questions for bike

I thought a Levo uses a 11 speed cassette. Isn't the HG500 a 10 speed cassette. If so, a chain designed for 11 speed is too narrow for a 10 speed cassette.

    Order Turnaround - RCS

You could get a female to female connector. You could get the adapter, strip the barrel plugs and tie them together with some wire connectors; the ones you can get a home depot (50 for $4).

    Order Turnaround - RCS

Did you ever get your adapter? Will this work from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Power-Cable-1-3ft-5-5mm-Photography/dp/B0749H25G9/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1532616243&sr=1-3&keywords=4-pin+xlr+male+to+dc I'm not sure what the wiring gauge is, but 2 amp is pretty low so its...

Hi tech solution to a low tech issue.

So I ended up purchasing the unit I mentioned above and hooked it up to a Milwaukee 12v battery. I had to cut the 12v cigarette lighter wire and added a barrel connector. I'll have to ride around a while to see how long the battery lasts. I removed the stand on the display and used my phone...

    Why is Pedego so popular?

They cater to a larger older demographic. They also do a good job marketing their bikes with commercials. The price may be higher than what I'm willing to pay, but it's all about getting people into the stores and trying it out. Once they try an e-bike, they are hooked. Their bikes are more...

    What's your range ?

I was able to go 68 miles on my 14 ah battery. I average around 12 watts/mile riding on level 1 assist averaging 15 mph. I now have (2) 52v 17.4 ah batteries squeezed in a Topeak MTX bag. That gives me a little over 1800 watts. I'm hoping to get 100 miles on that possibly on level 2...

Upgraded my brake calipers w/ TRP cable actuated hydraulic disc brakes

So after having to adjust the rear brakes again, I decided to replace the rear the RadWagon brake with Shimano XT hydraulic. I don't think the original Radwagon adapter fit these brakes so I had to order a different adapter. The length is 1700 mm and I was looking for 1600 mm length. For...

    Ebike battery powered tire pump

Most electric pumps run from a 12v car outlet. Maybe wire up a 2.1 mm barrel connector to the pump and plug it into a power tool battery and that would do the trick. The Milwaukee M12 and M18 batteries have a 2.1 mm jack and a USB port for charging devices.
