I had to read about why you are returning it. So is there any current generation biking computer which is perfect or almost for the SL with range extender? I submitted a few enhancement requests to Garmin but likely never happening.

It is clear to me I'm keeping Roam v2 for my Vado SL because of two reasons:

• I want to continue using the Redshift ShockStop Computer Mount on that e-bike (ACE wouldn't fit)
• Roam v2 shows the LEV Battery % as numbers. I need to see the Main Battery + Range Extender at all times as Vado SL 1 has no own display.

I will try ACE for my Vado 6.0. I can replace the LEV Battery field with the Wind Speed one (hopefully that works) as Vado 6.0 has a display with the e-bike battery %. I like seeing the ambient temperature in the status bar at the top!

@RRCV: does ACE now display the LEV Battery as an icon or a number? How do you assess the screen readability in direct sunshine?

Looking at the photo I can recollect why I hated Roam v3. It is the small font compared to huge and distinct characters of Roam v2. Hopefully the large size of ACE would make the screen readable enough...

Now, the first starting up of ACE takes ages. I wonder if it is not a lemon, too...
The computer showed "Wahoo". After a long time it messaged "Warming up" and now it is now stuck on "ELEMNT ACE" screen.
A restart has helped.
The setup is nightmarish.

@Jeremy McCreary: I'll create a separate thread only devoted to the ACE with my impressions, good or worse. The bottom line is: the ACE is the only adequate new Wahoo GPS e-bike computer (Bolt and Roam v3 are not). ACE offers some new features and at least is not hopeless

Still, I can see how strongly the corporation tried mimicking Garmin Good news: The LEV batteries levels are now reported as numbers! Good work, Wahoo, you do listen to your customers!
