Tyre Pressure Guage or yet another new pump

indeed, same as SKS, https://www.sks-germany.com/en/Products/Pumps/Spare-Parts.htm?a=catalog&p=1017

Since Silca moved from Italy to the USA in 2014 we see that the prices go up and up... SKS still just produces in Germany, and thats not the case with Silca, there are more and more products "designed by Silca" made....

Just take a look at what these pumps would cost in a given webshop in Euro's

The Pista is in the same range as the Floordrive or Rennkompressor, just costing more than double.

The CEO of Silca Josh Poertner has a vlog where he talks about Silca products and prices, difficulties with tarriffs, how they survived the covid boom and bust and most entertainingly; the war of words with other bike brands like Muc Off! No idea if Silca is worth the extra outlay, but he is entertaining and it's great to see a CEO talk to customers directly like this.

I recently bought one of these and I'm fairly impressed with it as it has done everything I have asked of it, my only negative thing to say about it is it has some heft to it, but that can also be a good thing. The battery last a long time and it fills tires fast while staying cool to the touch, and it's fairly quiet.
So I bought it, too, and currently am charging it.
It looks nice with all the options. Only it is big and heavy. A good thing to work with wheels indoors but I cannot imagine taking half a kilogram for a bike trip :)

However quiet it is, I can only turn it on the coming morning as I cannot risk waking my neighbours up now :)

Eh, well. The Fanttik pump could re-inflate the front wheel but refused to do so with the rear one, even if it was pumping all the time. I blame the Presta adapter.
Another lemon! At least it was not expensive.

I'm sorry Stefan you weren't too impressed with it, mine has worked well without issues. Yes I do carry mine on long rides, I just throw it into my rear bag and once there I never notice it, and it can be very handy to have when needed. It has basically replaced both my floor pumps at home. Noise aside this mini pump is fairly quiet and very cool (low temp) compared to other brands I've used. :)

My views related to e-biking have evolved towards "Ride light" :) I avoid panniers or bags now. Whatever belongs to the bike must be installed on the bike, and whatever belongs to the rider is carried by the rider.

No idea what's wrong with Fanttik, I will give it several chances. I can still carry the partly damaged Cycplus (and the Schwalbe gauge) in the saddle bag.
