Is a 2022 Medeo Blue Tooth Compatible?

I just bought a 2022 Gazelle Medeo T10 midstep through my local nonprofit bikeshop, GoBike Buffalo, by way of Upway. I picked it up today and can't seem to figure out if I can hook it into my phone or the on board computer is all I get. I road a Specialized for 4 years and the motor kicked. This seemed like the most cost effective option. I have yet to ride it. Thoughts?

What do you want to see on your phone? This bike has a Bosch Performance Line drive unit and a Purion display. Bosch is not an open system, and as far as I can see, this is an older System 2 drive unit. If so, connectivity to your phone would be through the Bosch Flow app.

Downloaded Bosch Flow App. It is not finding bike.

If it is a System2 bike with Purion display (or Intuvia) there is no Bluetooth connectivity. You would need a Kiox or Nyon, with a new wire run to connect to the Bosch eBike Connect app. The Smartphone Hub connected to the Cobi app.

The new Smart System bikes use the Flow app. I doubt if Gazelle had switched over to Smart System yet on my22 models.

Just curious, but would this be a USB connection? And would you run the wire from the Kiox/Nyon display to the phone, or is this a cable that comes from the controller (hidden in the frame)?

Again, just curious!

The System 2 Kiox or Nyon connect to the drive unit through a Bosch proprietary cable.
Ah, that’s kind of what I figured, Chris. So a USB cable, then, from a Kiox or Nyon display to the iPhone, then, to get the Connect app to work? And, as far as @joegenco is concerned, there is no solution to connect to the Connect app with the existing Purion display?

The Kiox has a micro-USB port that's used for Diagnostics, but I think it can charge a phone. The Kiox connects to eBike Connect through wifi when sending ride data to the app. EBike Connect can share data with Strava and Komoot. That's about the extent of my knowledge.

As Stomp said, it's a propriety cable from the motor to the Kiox/Nyon, and also a cable from the display to the handlebar controls. The Kiox and Nyon connect to phone and eBike Connect app via Bluetooth, but also sync with the eBike Connect server via wifi. Nyon is self sufficient with its own gps. Kiox needs a phone connection to track rides with location.

The Purion that the OP has is a simple combined display/handlebar controller that has no ride tracking capability or connectivity to the Bosch app.
