That was fun! You have got to love that bass. We have a mud oval track in my town. It is the dumbest thing. Every lovely Saturday evening, all Summer, no one can talk outside. I attracts rednecks from 90 miles away. It is like watching pin-pong balls being flushed in a toilet. I am back from my third ride of the day. I was just at an outdoor café eating my soup, 1/2 sandwich and salad. My 16 year-old pink haired waitress, said she was taking her break in five and asked to join me. We discussed books for 25 minutes. And I gave her a book I just finished about a teen-aged girl cannibal. She likes creepy phantasy books. Next she gets The Art of War because she likes Chinese history.

I’m stoked that you took the time to listen to this. When I first heard Les play the bass, and Herb on the drums, I had to get a drum kit. Now, I play bass. He is a very creative character. They are fun live. Lots of ping pong balls in the mosh pit.


Les Claypool also does stop motion animation.

I used to watch Gumby shows when I was a kid. I don’t remember all the characters, but I remember enjoying them.

More great stop motion.

Also good live. The drummer is a machine! Not really, he is just that exact.

Sheryl Crow did a remake of Dyre Maker a Led Zeppelin song and I totally loved it. Lady Gaga did did a remake of the same song and it was good, I still watch it on my big screen occasionally. It's really a combination of reggae and rock n roll.
Yeah I went through the phase of punk rock too.

I remember her song. It was on a Led Zepplin tribute album. Stone Temple Pilots also had a song on there too. I had acquired that album somehow. Cool album. I think I won it from a radio station.

Pork Pie is a great sounding snare drum. Herb, from Primus, uses that. The crack he gets is very nice. Jerry Was A Racecar Driver is a prime example of this.

FunFact: Herb, Tim Alexander, also drummed with The Blue Man Group.

The guitar played was in Possessed back in the day.

Pork pie? I used to eat them occasionally when I lived in England. I wouldn't eat them now, but I remember they were okay at the time.
